How to conduct meditation training in tourism?

In hot summer, it is suitable to spend a holiday in the north to cool off. In recent days, the family traveled to Holingol, Aershan, Xilingol and other places in eastern Inner Mongolia to experience the grassland national culture and refreshing forest trip.

On the way from Holingol to Aershan, we saw large pastures and flocks of cattle and sheep. Against the blue sky, I feel like I'm traveling in New Zealand at the beginning of the year. I feel relaxed and washed completely.

At the beginning of August, the hot air in the Yangtze River Delta is high, generally above 37 degrees; In the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, where I traveled, the highest temperature during the day did not exceed 25 degrees, and I already felt a burst of autumn coolness. Aershan region is rich in natural and high-quality "holy water". Visitors can drink water directly from a "spring" holy place beside the road. Drinking cool spring water, breathing fresh air, enjoying a quiet mood in refreshing Aershan.

In my experience, traveling in Aershan is not mainly about seeing the scenery, but cultivating mind and things in clean scenery, which requires "meditation" training.

What is meditation? Many people think that meditation is a mysterious activity in yoga when they hear it. In fact, "meditation" can be applied to our daily work and life.

For example, Google has organized employees to conduct meditation training. According to Mr. Wan Weigang's introduction in the column of "Getting Elite Day Class", engineers in Google are all absorbed in their work and often cannot extricate themselves from their work. As a result, poor rest affects health and reduces work efficiency. An engineer in Google happened to be able to meditate, so he gave a meditation class to his colleagues. As a result, the top leaders of Google saw the effect was very good, so they simply asked him to teach meditation to employees.

"Meditation" training can not only help you relieve the huge work pressure, but also help you learn to focus on the current thing. People who meditate, no matter what they do, will devote themselves wholeheartedly to the scenes that everyone is used to, and can maintain a novel mentality. For example, he turned on his laptop as if it was the first time a two-year-old saw it.

For people who often travel to places with good air, clear water and beautiful scenery, doing some simple meditation training is beneficial to their physical and mental health.

This time I came to Aershan, Inner Mongolia, and experienced the "hot spring fish therapy" for the first time in a hot spring pavilion. When a group of small fish named "Star Fish" gather at your feet and chew the dead skin on your feet, you will feel a little itchy. At this time, if you focus on "itching", 5- 10 minutes of meditation training will help cultivate your concentration and sensibility.

At that time, I was absorbed in serving starfish, especially the "itchy feeling" brought by the small fish biting my foot skin with its mouth, which made me enter a completely relaxed state and feel an unprecedented "touch".

I didn't expect "meditation" training to bring such a peak experience. Therefore, I made up my mind to set aside some time every day to focus on a special experience and practice meditation every time I travel.

So how to do simple meditation training? Teacher Wan Weigang introduced a simple and easy-to-learn meditation method in the book Peak Performance:

1. Find an undisturbed time and sit in a quiet place very comfortably;

2. Set an alarm clock so that you don't have to worry about the time;

3. Take a deep breath with your nose;

4. Breathe at a normal frequency, concentrate on your own breathing, and feel your stomach ups and downs with breathing;

If other ideas appear in your mind during this process, you don't have to avoid them, admit the idea and let it go. Consciousness always just wants to breathe;

6. As soon as the time arrives, you can "call it a day", starting from 1 minute and gradually increasing the time.

If you have practiced for a while and your skills have improved, you can concentrate on anything in this way.

For example, if you find an excellent scenery during your trip, you can find a quiet place to stand or sit down, set an alarm clock for 10 minutes with your mobile phone, take a few deep breaths first, and then concentrate on the scenery you see. When the alarm clock rings, you can go to the next scenic spot.

This meditation experience is difficult to express in words. Try it if you don't believe me. Maybe it will add a unique experience to your journey.
