What is the best incense for worshipping Buddha?
Lost in the future/transcription, really froze me! Leave the small Buddhist temple and never burn incense. Warm-hearted people often send all kinds of precious incense, but they have everything, such as sandalwood, agarwood, thread incense, lying incense, branch incense, strip incense, slice incense, stove incense ... all kinds of famous brands are dazzling; There is also a Buddha incense. After lighting, incense ashes stand upright, and Buddha statues or bodhisattvas gradually appear; There is also fake incense, that is, when the light bulb is on, it is a little light ... I didn't order it for the Buddha. Every year, I transfer a large number of famous incense to familiar Buddhist temples and Buddhist associations, and send them to Buddhist temples to become attached to thousands of Buddhist books. Only a few commonly used Buddhist scriptures were left, and no incense was left. The incense burner on the Buddha's desk is always empty. First of all, my personal understanding is that primitive Buddhism does not burn incense for Buddha, but only worships lotus, clean and elegant flowers and some fresh fruits. Judging from the original Buddhist scriptures, they are all dedicated to flowers and fruits, rather than burning incense and candles for the Buddha. I infer that primitive Buddhism does not burn incense, but is the work of foreign teachers, especially Brahmanism. Kneeling or even bowing down is a heretical ceremony, not a requirement of primitive Buddhism. Based on this understanding, Sakyamuni did not burn incense for the Buddha, but offered fruits and flowers. Now even flowers are plastic fake flowers, because flowers often have insects, which are not durable, and some are too strong, which makes me an allergic person have a headache and dizziness. Especially roses and a small white flower named Baby's Breath in English. The strange smell made me dizzy, and I almost fainted. As for flowers, I only use chrysanthemums, Ajisai or peony flowers. In spring and summer, the garden is full of herbaceous peony, which is different from the woody peony in Chinese mainland. Ajisai belongs to Ericaceae, but it is very big, or it also uses daffodils, or Manglietia, tulips, which have a faint fragrance. Lotus is a rare treasure here. There is no such Xiang Lian in the lotus pond in China, only water lilies, and there is no pure and elegant China lotus, so it is very annoying to sleep together at night. I didn't use it to sacrifice to the Buddha. I infer that when the Buddha was alive, his disciples used China Lotus to worship him. China Lotus originated in India and was introduced to China by Buddhism. After the variety is improved, it becomes more beautiful than the lotus of origin. Canada is too cold. For more than 30 years, I have been trying to cultivate lotus, but I can't succeed. I have to buy artificial lotus flowers for Buddha. Muny advocated the equality of all beings. He overthrew the unreasonable autocratic class system of Brahmanism. He advocated freedom, equality of Buddhism and everyone can become a Buddha. He is just tired of being a prince in the court. How can he come outside to accept any slave worship? How can you accept the offering of burning incense? I infer that Buddha is not allowed to burn incense and light candles for God. It turns out that burning incense is not for people, but for the pagans. The Buddha never claimed to be a Buddha and never pretended to be a ghost. He has always called himself a practitioner with a modest attitude. I infer that when the Buddha was alive, his disciples would abide by his teacher's teachings and dare not burn incense and light candles to worship him. I infer that after the death of Buddha, disciples dared to advocate burning incense and lighting candles to worship Buddha. In later generations, it evolved into a big table, dedicated to vegetarian products, snacks and delicious food. Some people carry roasted pigs and sheep to offer sacrifices to the Buddha, some burn their fingers to offer sacrifices to the Buddha, some plunge into blood to offer sacrifices to the Buddha, and some kowtow and bleed to offer sacrifices to the Buddha ... all of them have moved away from primitive Buddhism and evolved into superstitious religious colors. When asked about the problem of offering incense, sandalwood is generally used as the top grade, or sandalwood chips, or sawdust and wood powder are used to burn and smoke. It smells strong, but it's not bad. However, sandalwood is relatively rare, and its origin is Honolulu (Hawaii is named after it is rich in sandalwood), and it is rarely produced now. The growth of sandalwood trees takes many years, and it takes thirty or forty years to cut down. Farmers in Tan gradually switched to other crops with faster harvest, and few people waited 40 years to harvest sandalwood. Sandalwood's main customers may be Buddhists. I have observed that Hindus rarely burn incense to worship sandalwood, which may be too expensive and scarce. They switched to modern artificial sandalwood powder, which is synthesized by aromatic drugs with chemical agents. It may be confusing, but it will make people dizzy. Hinduism and other heretics like to burn incense and meditate. It is said that smelling these strange incense can help them meditate, get the pleasure of Zen and get the pleasure without waking up. I infer that the exotic fragrance may contain narcotic drugs, such as hashish, which will make people's brain function hallucinate due to anesthesia and cause the death of brain nerve cells for a long time. Their so-called "meditation" of burning incense is a very dangerous poisoning phenomenon, not a real meditation. The composition of Tibetan incense has not been analyzed, but it has a strong aroma when burned, similar to the synthetic incense of marijuana mentioned above. I suspect that it may also be mixed with Indian hemp. When I smell it, I will immediately feel dizzy and shake it, but I will fall down. If you don't rush out in time, you will inevitably fall into a coma. You must call an ambulance and take it to the emergency room of the hospital. I have only been to the local Tibetan secret Dojo once, and the experience was terrible. I never dare to go again, never dare to go again. They are extremely friendly and considerate, but they just can't stand those powerful secrets. Tibetans are hospitable, but Tibetan incense is terrible! However, Tibetans have nothing to do. Maybe they have been used to it since childhood, and their bodies have developed resistance. Or maybe they have succeeded in practicing, they are no longer afraid of the strong fragrance and control their sense of smell, so they can't stand the smell and touch? I am not good at it. I have to retreat in one minute! I think that kind of incense can sell a lot of money and make a fortune if it is used with pesticides. I don't know what the secret recipe is. People in China like to use incense sticks, some of which are mixed with a little sandalwood powder, but most of them are made of chemical aromatic agents, plus wood bran powder, clay, glue and some oils (lard is traditionally used because of its low cost, but now some of them are replaced by plain oil or wax oil, and they are made into incense sticks after drying. The above information is obtained from an article introducing handicraft industry in a publication. The aroma burned out is much lighter and more acceptable than Tibetan incense, lying incense and Indian incense, but it will still be uncomfortable, headache or dizziness. No different from tobacco. It's similar to a cigar, and it's unsanitary, which will damage the lungs. Its carbon dioxide is also harmful to the brain. Too strong a bundle of incense burns, which makes people have difficulty breathing, headache and dizziness. Too much incense is often ordered in temples. Incense burners or incense burners are full of incense, thousands of them. The whole temple is filled with cigarettes and smoke, which makes people suffocate. There is an endless stream of incense burners, and everyone presents large bundles of incense, thinking that the more incense, the more respectful and sincere, and the more blessed. I didn't know that the smoke of those incense sticks smoked away all the gods and buddhas! The Buddha is watching who burns the most incense, so bless him for no joke! Will buddhas and bodhisattvas be so greedy? What if people have no good thoughts? If you don't have a clean heart, it's no use burning incense and lighting candles, offering 10 thousand sticks of incense and 10 thousand Jin of sesame oil! Will the righteous Buddha you believe in be rare in the world? I'm afraid it's not a serious Buddha if the number of incense offerings varies. In fact, offering incense is only for believers to seek inner peace. How much incense is there, and what is more important? Burning too much incense may really make the Buddha and Bodhisattva smoke unbearable and suffocate! If the smoke of incense sticks does not smoke away the Buddha, it will at least smoke people! Don't you believe it? Let's count it. How many of those temples, Taoist priests and monks are lucky to have no respiratory diseases? Liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, why do you suffer from these diseases after eating vegetarian monks and practicing so well? Vegetarianism has both positive and negative effects. Not everyone who eats vegetarian food will live forever, but it is better for health care than people who eat more meat. There are hundreds of kinds of carbon dioxide, colorless and odorless carbon monoxide and toxic gases produced by burning incense and lighting candles day and night in temples, but vegetarians can't resist them. All kinds of toxic gases enter the respiratory system, and the lungs are transported to the internal organs, whole body cells, brain and central nervous system through blood. Some of them may be detoxified, but the residual toxins will accumulate day by day, just like the accumulated nicotine base, which will eventually defeat the natural immunity of the human body and lead to death. No wonder so many monks become lung cancer, liver cancer, heart failure, renal failure and hematologic cancer ... The answer to this mystery is ... long-term incense. It can be said that it was poisoned by incense smoke! Monks who don't smoke will die of lung cancer and liver cancer. They were poisoned by incense without knowing it, and no one had ever given any warning. Probably, I was the first person to give such a warning. It should not be alarmist, right? In the past ten years, I have seen that most wizards have died of lung cancer and liver cancer. Those who never smoke or drink and lead a serious life will also suffer from this terminal disease. Some people say it is because of bad karma in previous lives, but I infer that it is not. I think it is the result of being attacked by the poisonous gas of incense day and night for a long time. If someone suspects that this is a bold assumption, why not take scientific medical instruments to collect cigarette samples from various temples, conduct tests and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, then it is not difficult to detect whether it is possible to harm human health. If my inference is correct, we will understand that incense is actually harmful! I don't know how many innocent good practitioners and monks have been killed! I advocate that burning incense and lighting candles should be abolished to protect health and prevent the disaster of returning to Shandong! Every year, I heard that the Buddhist temple was burned, which was caused by accidentally lighting incense and candles! In fact, the really best fragrance is "heart fragrance"! Instead of incense made of any foreign objects.
