The Origin of College Students' Mental Health Day

First, the origin of "5.25" Mental Health Day: "5.25" is a homonym of "I love me", which was initiated by Beijing Normal University in May 2000 and responded by more than ten universities in Beijing, aiming to call on students to pay attention to mental health. Since then, the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the Office of the All-China Federation of Students have issued an initiative to national college and middle school students, and designated May 25th as the National College Students' Mental Health Day.

Second, the purpose of the activity: "5.25" National College Students' Mental Health Day, we launched the activity of "Shaping Healthy Personality and Creating a Better Life" in some primary and secondary schools in the whole region, hoping to guide students and parents to pay attention to their own psychology, learn and understand mental health knowledge, and let the majority of students pay attention to themselves and care for others, so as to lay a good foundation for creating a better life.

2. Content: A letter from "May 25th" to parents of students.

In the week of "May 25th", choose one day to play "The Great Counter-offensive of the Stadium", and the school mental health teacher will give simple counseling before and after watching.
