The significance of World Health Day lies in arousing the attention of countries around the world to health problems, mobilizing people all over the world to care about and improve the current health situation and improve the health level of human beings.

April 7th every year is the World Health Day established by the World Health Organization to commemorate the establishment of WHO on the day of 1948. 1948, countries all over the world came together and established WHO, with the purpose of promoting health, maintaining world security, serving the vulnerable groups, and enabling everyone in the world to obtain the highest level of health and well-being.

On April 7, 2023, the theme of World Health Day was determined as "seventy-five years of improving public health", aiming at commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization, so as to improve the quality of life and inspire people to take action to meet the health challenges of today and tomorrow. The National Health and Wellness Committee defined China's propaganda theme as "quality resources sink, and everyone enjoys health".

The development history of World Health Day;

1946 On July 22nd, the United Nations Economic and Social Council held the first International Health Assembly in new york. Representatives of more than 60 countries signed the Charter of the World Health Organization, which came into effect on April 7, 1948.

To commemorate the adoption of the organization's charter, the World Health Organization was formally established at the first United Nations World Health Assembly held in Geneva in June 1948, and decided to designate July 22nd as World Health Day every year, encouraging countries to hold various commemorative activities.

The following year, the Second World Health Assembly decided from 1950 that April 7th would be the global "World Health Day". Considering that schools in most countries have summer holidays in July every year, they cannot participate in this celebration. Since 1950, the World Health Organization has chosen a theme for World Health Day every year, highlighting the key areas of concern of WHO.
