1, Huangpi, huangpi district is a red fertile soil and an old revolutionary base area.
The red fire originated in Sanhedian Village, the red bonfire burned all over Mulan Mountain, and the red flag took root in Yaojiashan. A period of history has accumulated a profound red culture of Huangpi.
Yaojiashan in Huangpi, 90km away from the center of Wuhan, was a red fortress during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. It has a rich red historical background and a series of hard and touching red stories.
From the end of 1940 to the end of 1946, Comrade Li Xiannian led the Hubei-Henan forward column of the New Fourth Army for three times. The Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army, the Political Department and the Party Committee of the Hubei-Henan Border Region were stationed here, and together with the local villagers, they wrote a series of anti-Japanese movements.
The Red Experience Hall, the former residences of Li Xiannian and Chen Shaomin, the former revolutionary site and the historical exhibition hall of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army are all memorable.
After visiting the exhibition hall, you can also take a walk in Xiangxi Canyon not far away.
In summer, the Xiangxi Valley is lush, the streams are cool, and there is no trace of war. The great rivers and mountains of the motherland are the most beautiful pictures.
Mulan Mountain, which is an hour's drive from Yaojiashan, the revolutionary footprints of the soldiers of the Seventh Army have traveled all over Mulan Mountain and its surrounding mountains and rivers.
After the failure of the Jute Uprising, the Eastern Hubei Army assembled 72 people from Huang An to Mulan Mountain in Huangpi. Since then, this team has actively carried out guerrilla warfare with Mulan Mountain as a barrier.
The "Red Army Cave" is hidden on the cliff in the north of Mulan Mountain. At that time, Wu Guanghao, Dai Kemin, Chen Zaidao and others often hid here.
After the founding of New China, Marshal Xu wrote an inscription for Mulan Mountain: "The revolutionary bonfire of Mulan Mountain burned all over Dabie Mountain", which is a proper evaluation of Mulan Mountain's position in the revolutionary history of China.
2. Xinzhou District Xinzhou District is adjacent to the former site of the Jute Uprising, leaving many revolutionary war relics.
Starting from Jinwen Academy in Xinzhou Old Street, winding eastward along asphalt road, reaching Jiangjun Mountain, the highest peak in Wuhan, there are many scenic spots along the way, such as Shaotan River, Daoguan River and Lion Rock. This is the red tourist highway built by Xinzhou.
The majestic General Mountain, located at the southern foot of Dabie Mountain, is the throat of Wuhan connecting eastern Hubei, southern Henan and western Anhui. Its strategic position is very unique and it is listed as a battleground for military strategists.
There are strange rocks and pines, magical birds and animals, and lush trees.
During the revolutionary war years, this was the guerrilla base area where the plainclothes team, the Red Army and the New Fourth Army engaged in revolutionary activities, and the "General Mountain Meeting" that decided to implement the strategic shift was held here. From the Great Revolution to the end of the War of Liberation, there were more than 350 battles.
Jiangjunshan Red Culture Exhibition Hall, located in Qinglonggang, was once the site of the Anti-Japanese War.
The exhibition hall reflects the glorious history of people in Jiangjunshan area who fought bravely one after another in the Great Revolution, Agrarian Revolution, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and Liberation War after the establishment of the first Party organization in Xinzhou.
Zhangduhu Anti-Japanese Base Monument, fenghuang town Martyrs Cemetery, Daoguanhe Revolutionary Martyrs Deeds Exhibition Room, etc. Are reminding us not to forget your innovative spirit.
3. caidian district is a low mountain, and caidian district is bordered by Hanshui River in the north and Yangtze River in the south. It is the west gate of Wuhan and a battleground for military strategists in past dynasties.
Eighty years ago, in autumn and winter, the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army advanced into the Sichuan-Hanmian area and launched the Battle of Dwarf Mountain with brilliant results.
In the Battle of Aishan, a legendary reconnaissance staff officer Fu was born in Fuwan, Yangwan Village. His son, Fu Jianqiao, grew up listening to the story of the Battle of Dwarf Mountain. He had already planted red seeds in his heart and raised funds to build the Battle Museum of Dwarf Mountain.
From Fujiashan winding up behind the museum, you can see an iron army pavilion. During the Battle of Dwarf Mountain, the headquarters of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army was stationed on this mountain.
Overlooking Yangwan Village from the newly-built Tiejun Pavilion, there are rows of houses with white walls and grey roofs, and the smoke is curling up.
From Fujiashan down the mountain, along the village houses and walls painted with cartoons of the Battle of the Dwarf Mountains, I came to Yangwan Village Political Life Experience Hall.
Here, the struggle history of Yangwan Village is unfolded through three major plates: red gene, changes of the times and red and beautiful Yangwan in the new era.
Over the past 80 years, the story of bonfire and smoke under the short mountain has been passed down from generation to generation, and generations of Yangwan people have drawn strength from the story and written a new chapter of the times.
At the foot of Jiuzhen Mountain in caidian district, there is another village called Changxin Village.
An old blue brick house in the village stands out among the high-rise buildings in the village bay. This old house is the former residence of revolutionary martyr Chen Changhao.
The former residence officially reopened on 20 16, 16126, and has been listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Wuhan, becoming an important revolutionary traditional education base and a red tourist attraction.
At Jiuzhen Mountain, not far from Changxin Village, we also found some red marks.
194 1 winter, Zhu Liwen participated in and directed the battle of Dwarf Mountain. In order to cover the transfer of troops, Zhu Liwen died heroically at the age of 32 when he attacked the Japanese army at Jiuzhen Mountain Pass.
In order to commemorate Zhu Liwen's heroic deeds, in 20 17, Jiuzhen Mountain Scenic Area built Zhu Liwen Square on the flat land not far from the pass.
Jiuzhen Mountain is known as "the first peak in Jianghan Plain", and its rich natural resources are talked about by everyone. Coming here is not only a tribute to the revolutionary martyrs, but also a charm of reaching the top.
