I think the following points need to be considered:
First of all, focus on what you are doing, only on what you are doing right now, and have the spirit of craftsmanship. This is the weapon to overcome involution. Focus on what you are interested in, and external anxiety will not affect us. At the same time, enough concentration will make you unique in some way and have unique value in the eyes of others, thus becoming an outstanding talent in the eyes of others. Each of us will come into contact with many things, but not everything needs our energy to learn. We need to give up some useless needs, which can alleviate our anxiety. This is not an escape, but an effective effort.
Secondly, everyone participates in it just to gain benefits for themselves, and the final efforts and gains are often disproportionate. This cake is too small for so many people, so we can make it bigger. College students who take the exam have no time to think about their own lives. They compete most of the time, but we can find new ways to find new cakes. We can look at the direction of life from a higher angle, choose one possibility and choose many possibilities. I think the latter is more conducive to our development.
In short, opposing involution requires a rational mind and calm thinking.
