The average life expectancy of urban and rural residents in China has increased from 35 years in the early days of New China to 77 years in 20 18 years. The average life expectancy of men and women in China is 73.64 years and 79.43 years respectively. The average life expectancy of women is 2-3 years higher than that of men.
The full text of the 14th Five-Year National Health Plan issued by the General Office of the State Council was published. It is proposed that by 2025, the average life expectancy in China will continue to increase by about 1 year on the basis of 2020, and the average life expectancy will reach over 80 years in 2035.
