The Ministry of Health of Vietnam stipulates that drugs carried by entry-exit personnel can only be carried for 7- 10 days according to doctors' prescriptions. The drugs carried are only for personal and family use, and cannot be sold in the market or used for other illegal purposes. The value of drugs carried on each entry shall not exceed $30, and the total value shall not exceed 100.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, each person should not bring drugs into the country more than three times a year. It is also stipulated that all kinds of medical raw materials and drugs containing chemicals prohibited from import and export are not allowed.

1. It is forbidden for Vietnamese citizens and foreign citizens to bring gold bars or raw materials into or out of Vietnam.
