Yueyang Modern Service Vocational and Technical College is a key project in Yueyang City and the first college project settled in Miluo so far. When the project is completed, it will end the history that Miluo has no university. According to the construction standard of undergraduate colleges, the project will build a campus area of 500,000 ㎡ in four phases, with a planned investment of 1 1 billion yuan.

After the completion of the project, it can better provide talent support for Hunan construction machinery supporting industrial park, which is of great significance to promote local economic development.
Relying on the "Hunan Construction Machinery Supporting Industrial Park" and the industries in the park, the College has built a productive training base with deep integration of production and education to meet the needs of productive training in construction machinery, information technology, cultural tourism and modern services, health management and humanities education.
The college recruits graduates from ordinary high schools, secondary vocational schools and technical schools or graduates with equivalent education for the whole country. The academic system is a full-time three-year junior college, focusing on academic education, taking into account continuing education and short-term training.
History of running a school
In April, 20021year, under the leadership of Changsha Municipal Government and Yueyang Municipal Government, Yueyang Modern Service Vocational College officially signed a contract to settle in Hunan Construction Machinery Supporting Industrial Park in Changsha Economic Development Zone. 202 1 officially launched the first phase of campus construction.
On March 28th, 2023, according to the "Setting Plan of Ordinary Colleges and Universities in Hunan Province during the Tenth Five-Year Plan", the Hunan Provincial Department of Education announced the establishment of Yueyang Modern Service Vocational College and other seven colleges and universities through on-site inspection and collective evaluation by the expert group of the Fourth College Setting Evaluation Committee of Hunan Province.
