Frequent road construction, Xi's traffic is sub-health first.

Recently, Gaode Map released the traffic analysis report of major cities in China in the third quarter of 2020.

The data shows that among the 360 cities monitored by Gaode Traffic Big Data, 7.48% of the urban commuting peaks are in a congested state, and 58. 17% of the urban commuting peaks are in a slow state.

Based on the data of different dimensions, the "traffic health" horizontal lines of 50 major cities in China are obtained in the map of Gaode.

The data shows that the traffic health index of Xi city is the lowest, which is 42.80%, and the urban traffic is in a relatively sub-health state. In the sub-health TOP 10 list, Xi ranked first, while Beijing, which is famous for its congestion, ranked ninth in this quarter's list.

This is not the first time that Xi 'an ranks first in sub-health.

In Gao De's report in the second quarter, Xi 'an was also the first in traffic sub-health TOP 10; Comparing the changes of the list in the two quarters, Chongqing rose from the third place in the second quarter to the second place, Chengdu fell from the tenth place in the second quarter to the seventh place in this quarter, and Shenzhen even rose from the second place in the second quarter to the seventh place in this quarter. Xi an stood still.

Even forward, in the first quarter, the first place of traffic sub-health TOP 10 in Gaode was still Xi 'an, and the traffic index of Xi 'an at that time was 62.8+0%. (These situations have been reported in this newspaper before)

This is still the view of Gaode Map, but the traffic report of Baidu Map also proves the congestion in Xi 'an. In the report of Baidu Map in the second quarter, the traffic congestion of 100 cities was ranked on the TOP 10 list, Xi 'an was ranked among them, second only to Chongqing, and developed cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen were all behind Xi 'an.

Affected by the epidemic, the traffic congestion in cities in the first quarter was greatly alleviated. So Baidu uses the traffic mitigation list to reflect the traffic situation of a city in the first quarter. In this list, Xi ranks seventeenth, and Beijing-Shanghai-Guangzhou-Shenzhen ranks ahead of Xi 'an.

According to Gao De's analysis, the peak congestion in Xi Wan An is higher than that in the morning peak, while the peak congestion in Xi 'an shows a downward trend, but the peak congestion in the evening peak shows an upward trend, with a month-on-month increase of 3.3% and a year-on-year increase of 15.46%.

Gao De believes that the congestion in Xi is mainly caused by road construction. In the third quarter, among the major cities in China, Xi 'an ranked second in average road construction mileage, accounting for 2% of road construction, second only to Guangzhou and ahead of Xi 'an.
