China Institute of Health Science and Technology conducted a survey on 16 cities with a population of over one million in provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government. It was found that the proportion of people in Beijing was 75.3%, that in Shanghai was 73.49%, and that in Guangdong was 73.4 1%. The sub-health rates in these three regions were significantly higher than those in other regions.
Experts pointed out that the emergence of such a high proportion of sub-healthy people is mainly related to the increased work pressure and accelerated pace of life. Severe sub-health will affect the nervous system, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, induce hypertension, coronary heart disease, migraine, affect the endocrine system, and appear symptoms such as irregular menstruation in women and impotence in men. The survey shows that among urban white-collar workers over 40 years old, problems such as chronic fatigue, emotional instability and abnormal metabolism are more prominent due to overload. Men who shoulder the double burden of career and family must not be indifferent to sub-health, otherwise they will regret the health price they have paid.
The premature aging of men is an important manifestation of sub-health.
In recent years, Shanghai's first citizens' physical fitness monitoring guidance center compared the physical fitness monitoring data of nearly 500 physical fitness monitors, and found that about 80% of the monitored people were older than their actual physiological age. Another study shows that the rapid aging trend of high-income people in China has surpassed the level of European and American countries.
The premature aging of men is related to their general lack of exercise, heavy work pressure and sub-health status. According to the survey conducted by the Sub-health Research Center of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, the healthy population in Shanghai accounts for 16%, the unhealthy population accounts for 14%, the sub-health population accounts for 70% (including 40% mild patients and 30% chronic patients), and the sub-health population is dominated by "men, with the highest proportion of intellectuals and enterprise managers reaching about 70%".
