(1) Registration conditions
High school, technical secondary school or above, in good health, at least 18 years old, with basic knowledge and language ability to meet the needs of tour guides.
(2) Time and place of registration
201September 15 to101October 25th. Registration points are located in municipal tourism bureaus and provincial tourism training centers.
(3) Registration requirements
1. Candidates must show their academic credentials and the original ID card when registering, and submit copies of the above-mentioned documents, 4 bareheaded photos with 1 inch red background (standard format), health certificates issued by hospitals at or above the county level, and examination registration forms (online download or copy). Candidates who apply for the foreign language test and tour guides who have obtained tour guide qualification certificates in other provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions) and are engaged in tour guide work in Shanxi only take the oral test instead of the written test, and verify the original and photocopy of the tour guide qualification certificate.

Second, the exam.
(1) Examination subjects
The tour guide qualification examination is divided into two parts: written examination and oral examination. In the oral test, Chinese candidates take the test in Putonghua, while foreign language candidates take the test in the registered language and try to interpret.
