Activities of Breastfeeding Week 1 20xx August 1-7 is xx World Breastfeeding Week. According to the Notice of the Department of Women and Children of the National Health and Family Planning Commission on Launching the Publicity Activities of World Breastfeeding Week 20xx (Guo Wei Maternal and Child Health Letter [20xx] No.53) and the requirements of the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, the publicity activities of our city are hereby notified as follows:
First, increase breast-feeding publicity.
The theme of this World Breastfeeding Week is "Breastfeeding is the key to the sustainable development of society", which aims to promote breastfeeding in multi-sectors, multi-levels and multi-channels, emphasizing that breastfeeding is not only related to children's health, but also one of the important measures to improve the quality of the population and promote national economic and social development. County (city) District Health and Family Planning Bureau (Health Bureau) and relevant medical and health institutions should combine the theme of this year's Breastfeeding Week, focus on ensuring the smooth implementation of the universal two-child policy, focus on planned pregnant couples, pregnant women and lactating women, make full use of traditional media and new media, popularize the benefits of breastfeeding, popularize breastfeeding knowledge and skills, help pregnant women build confidence in breastfeeding, and vigorously create a social atmosphere that protects, supports and promotes breastfeeding. It is necessary to vigorously advocate organs, enterprises and institutions to set up nursing rooms reasonably, equip them with relevant facilities and equipment as needed, provide convenience for lactating women, ensure that working lactating women can continue breastfeeding, and strive to create a social atmosphere for breastfeeding.
Second, strengthen the management of baby-friendly hospitals.
County (city) District Health and Family Planning Bureau (Health Bureau) should strengthen the daily supervision of baby-friendly hospitals, carry out regular or irregular unannounced visits and supervision of baby-friendly hospitals, delist baby-friendly hospitals that do not meet the standards and report them to the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, and continuously consolidate the achievements of baby-friendly hospitals. Improving breast-feeding rate and reducing cesarean section rate are important contents of quality management in baby-friendly hospitals, and the brand value of baby-friendly hospitals will be continuously improved. According to the requirements of Baby-friendly Hospital Standards (20xx Edition), we will continue to carry out the evaluation of baby-friendly hospitals and report the relevant medical and health institutions that meet the new standards to the Maternal and Child Health Service Office of our Committee before July 28. In August, our Committee will organize experts to conduct on-site evaluation of the newly declared baby-friendly hospitals.
Third, strengthen breast-feeding training and services.
All relevant medical and health institutions should actively organize medical personnel in obstetrics, neonatology and pediatrics to carry out training on breast-feeding related laws and policies, breast-feeding knowledge and skills, and maternal and child health consultation skills, so as to improve service capacity and technical level. Baby-friendly hospitals should give full play to the role of demonstration and guidance in training, and strictly ensure that the benefits and knowledge of breastfeeding are disseminated through pregnant women's schools before delivery, and confidence in breastfeeding is established; the foundation for successful breastfeeding is laid through "three mornings" during delivery; pregnant women are guided to master breastfeeding knowledge and skills through special patrol after delivery, and problems encountered during breastfeeding are solved in time through breastfeeding consultation clinics and hotlines after discharge.
Fourth, summarize the reporting activities in time.
Counties (cities) health and family planning bureaus should focus on the theme of this year's World Breastfeeding Week, and on the basis of carrying out the activities of Breastfeeding Publicity Week, carefully summarize and report the activities in this area, including the organization, effect and typical special activities (two photos in jpg format are submitted for each activity, named in the form of "date-place-activity name") (20xx posters and canvases are downloaded from the Chinese website xxxom of World Breastfeeding Week. Please report the activities to the Municipal Children's Health Center before August 20th, and the city's summary will be reported to the Maternal and Child Health Service Office of our Committee before August xx.
Breastfeeding Week 2 Content 20 17 1-7 is the 26th World Breastfeeding Week, with the theme of "Breastfeeding, * * * Persistence", aiming at promoting breastfeeding in the whole society, multi-sectors, multi-levels and multi-directions. Protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding has become a global awareness. In order to publicize this year's World Breastfeeding Week, implement the "China Children's Development Program (20xx-2020)" and achieve the goal that the exclusive breastfeeding rate of infants will reach more than 50% within half a year, the Notice of the Department of Women and Children of the National Health and Family Planning Commission on Promoting the World Breastfeeding Week in 20 17 (Guo Wei Maternal and Child Letter [20 17]) is hereby issued.

County and city health and family planning bureaus should attach great importance to the publicity work of the 26th World Breastfeeding Week this year, closely focus on the theme of this year's World Breastfeeding Week, innovate working methods, carry out activities of Breastfeeding Week, actively coordinate radio, television and bulletin boards with women's federations and other relevant departments, make full use of traditional media and new media, and carry out publicity activities for the whole society in a form that is loved by the masses. At the same time, focusing on planned pregnant couples, pregnant women and lactating women, popularize breastfeeding knowledge and skills.
Second, strengthen the management of baby-friendly hospitals.
Baby-friendly hospital is an important position to publicize and promote breastfeeding. The county and city health and family planning bureaus should strengthen the daily supervision of baby-friendly hospitals in accordance with the requirements of "Baby-friendly Hospital Standards (20xx Edition)", constantly enhance the brand value of baby-friendly hospitals, and regard improving breastfeeding rate and reducing cesarean section rate as an important content of quality management of baby-friendly hospitals. Carry out self-inspection work in baby-friendly hospitals at all levels, rectify the problems found, and lay the foundation for the three-year review of baby-friendly hospitals next year. In 20 18, the city will carry out the re-examination of baby-friendly hospitals, and warn or delist baby-friendly hospitals that do not meet the standards.
Third, increase social support for breastfeeding.
In conjunction with relevant departments, actively advocate the establishment of nursing rooms in enterprises, institutions and public places to create convenient and barrier-free conditions for nursing women and shoulder social responsibilities. Baby-friendly hospitals at all levels should keep the breastfeeding consultation telephone open 24 hours a day, answer the difficulties and problems encountered in the process of breastfeeding in time, provide basic knowledge and skills of breastfeeding, and improve the quality and accessibility of breastfeeding consultation services.
Four, according to the requirements and time limit to submit a summary of the activities.
Each county and city health and family planning bureau should carefully summarize the activities, including the organization, effect and typical activities (each activity needs to submit two photos in jpg format, named after "date-place-name"). The county and urban health and family planning bureaus are requested to summarize the publicity activities of World Breastfeeding Week and send them to the Health Supervision Department of the Municipal Health and Family Planning Bureau in electronic form before 201August 7 15.
