Second, the protective measures
1, improve the working environment. According to the relevant laws and regulations, mechanical ventilation facilities must be installed in workplaces with occupational hazards to reduce the concentration of benzene series in the air and control the harm of toxic substances below the national health standards. Therefore, wood products enterprises with painting operations must set up an independent painting room and must not mix it with other processes; The spray booth must be ventilated by combining positive pressure and negative pressure to ensure the fresh and smooth air. The studio must use water curtain (water curtain) to reduce poison, running water to detoxify, and ensure that the poison in the studio is discharged in time; The paint room should be equipped with washing facilities, and the paint dirt on the walls and floors must be cleaned regularly.
2. Equip employees with protective equipment. Enterprises must provide protective clothing, gloves and gas masks that meet the requirements of "Rules for Selection of Labor Protection Articles" and "Selection, Use and Maintenance of Respiratory Protection Articles" for the staff engaged in painting, gluing and paint drying, and urge them to wear them correctly. Workers should wear gas masks when operating. Under special circumstances, workers must use gas masks. Enterprises should reform production methods and technological processes, improve the level of mechanization, and try their best to keep operators away from and less exposed to harmful gases.
3. Regular physical examination. The enterprise shall carry out occupational health examination for employees exposed to toxic substances at least once a year, and organize personnel engaged in painting operations to carry out occupational health examination before, during and after leaving the post according to law. At the same time, we should do a good job in employment, industrial injury insurance and environmental protection in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.
