The college has three master's degree authorized majors: pedagogy principle, curriculum and teaching theory, development and educational psychology.
The College of Educational Sciences has both liberal arts and science, with 59 faculty members. Among them, there are 22 people with the title of associate senior middle school or above, 8 people are studying for doctoral degrees, 27 people are studying for master's degrees, and 5 people are hired as honorary professors inside and outside Xinjiang. A team of teachers with high ideological level, strong teaching and scientific research ability and high professional and technical level has been formed, with young and middle-aged backbones as the main body.
Since the establishment of the college, the school and the college have invested a total of more than RMB120,000, mainly by adding more advanced domestic photography, recording, editing and conventional teaching equipment. There are more than 200 kinds of experimental instruments in the psychological laboratory, which can do psychological tests, measurements and psychological experiments in specialized courses. It is the largest psychology laboratory in Xinjiang universities at present.
In recent years, scientific research has achieved fruitful results, undertaken more than ten national, autonomous region and international cooperation projects, and published nearly 100 scientific research papers with remarkable results.
At present, the college has set up three characteristic courses of teacher education for the whole school: public pedagogy, public psychology and modern educational technology, which plays an important role in cultivating and expanding the basic literacy of future teachers. There are 935 graduate students and 935 junior college students in our college. There are associations such as College Students' Psychological Association, Black Eye Photography Association and Computer Association. The college carries out a variety of quality education activities such as scientific and technological innovation and social practice among students, which provides a platform for students to fully display their talents.
