Entry epidemic prevention policy
The day before yesterday, the Ministry of Health of Thailand issued an announcement to list China (including Hong Kong and Macao), Iran, Italy and South Korea with more than 1 000 confirmed cases as dangerous infectious areas outside COVID-19.
On this basis, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand requires the flights originating from the above four countries to implement the new entry epidemic prevention policy. The detailed implementation rules are as follows:
1. Passengers must show their medical health certificates and critical illness insurance policies that can be used in Thailand with a coverage of more than US$ 6,543,800. If they can't show it, the airline must refuse passengers to board the plane.
2. Relevant medical health certificates (some media call them "medical health certificates without coronavirus pneumonia-19 infection risk", as shown in the following figure) must be filled in English or Thai, and must be issued within 2 days before the flight departure, showing that the passenger did not have COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days before the flight departure, and all relevant tests were negative;
3. Passengers must also fill out a health information card (some media call it "T8 form", see the figure below for details). The form must be filled in English or Thai, and submitted to the disease control and inspection officials in Thailand after landing;
4. After arriving in Thailand, passengers must be quarantined in the hotel 14 days, and Thai law enforcement officers will conduct spot checks.
The Embassy of China in Thailand followed up the news, reminding compatriots who plan to come to Thailand in the near future to pay attention to the latest entry and epidemic prevention policies in Thailand and make reasonable arrangements for their trips to Thailand according to their own conditions.
When entering Thailand, please cooperate with relevant prevention and control measures in Thailand to avoid unnecessary troubles.
At the same time, please pay close attention to the local epidemic situation, understand the relevant common sense, strengthen self-protection, and scientifically and reasonably prevent epidemic.
Give everyone a key point:
1. Suspend the issuance of landing visa to China tourists, and suspend the visa exemption for mainland China and Hongkong;
2. Entry requirements: medical health certificate (medical health certificate without coronavirus pneumonia-19 infection risk), health information card (T8 form), and critical illness insurance policy that can be used in Thailand with the insured amount exceeding 654.38 million US dollars;
3. Quarantine is required after entry 14 days. If you stay in a hotel, you should pay for your own accommodation.
