The education of college students' ideals and beliefs is an important part of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. With the rapid development of social economy, it has brought great benefits to people and improved their lives day by day. But at the same time, some bad ideas are eroding campus life; The negative influence of market economy on education directly hurts the physical and mental health of college students, and the diversification of values makes the education of ideals and beliefs pale and powerless. Ideals and beliefs are a kind of motivation and a kind of spiritual hormone that encourages people to go forward bravely and resolutely. The revival of a nation and the prosperity of a country cannot be separated from a strong spiritual pillar and lofty ideals and beliefs. College students are the source of cultural life of the country, and their ideals and beliefs are directly related to the future of the country. Therefore, the education of college students' ideals and beliefs is closely related to the future events of the country. And "Quality Development" is a treasure book to strengthen the education of college students' ideals and beliefs.
First, to carry out quality development issues
1. The guiding ideology is not clear.
One of the main problems in the process of developing quality is that the guiding ideology is not clear, and there is no clear grasp on how to carry out quality development and improve students' quality. Students still have unclear guiding ideology. They don't know why they want to expand their quality and what changes it will bring to them.
2. Not paying enough attention
In China, the vast majority of colleges and universities just equate quality development training with a large number of student activities, and the educational concept behind the pursuit of quality development activities becomes a mere formality. Through investigation and study, it is found that the specific operation links in the process of organizing college students' quality development training are not standardized, simple and ineffective, the implementation links and operation processes are too complicated, the content and form are not unified, and there are certain differences in time and space.
The key to the above two problems is that quality education has no core guiding force, and the core that is ignored by most colleges and universities is the education of students' ideals and beliefs. Only by strengthening the education of students' ideals and beliefs can we play a guiding role, give full play to students' subjective initiative and give quality education a soul.
Second, the status quo of contemporary college students' ideals and beliefs
During my time as the head teacher of Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College, I made a brief questionnaire survey on the ideological status of college students. The results are as follows.
First of all, 200 questionnaires were distributed to freshmen in the class and classroom where the author was the head teacher. The ideals, beliefs, values and outlook on life were investigated. Among the respondents, 90% of the students are league members, 7% are party activists, and 1% are students party member.
1.42% of the students have the motivation to join the party, and 3 1% of the students think that * * * socialist ideal "has a certain impetus to their study"; 8% students think that party member has advantages, and 54% students think that party member is good for finding jobs. 18% students think that the prestige of the party is declining and they are unwilling to join the party; 17% of students think that the conditions for joining the party are not mature; At the same time, 30% of college students think that the most prominent problem in party member Thought is "weak ideals and beliefs". Therefore, we should seriously carry out the education of maintaining the advanced nature of Communist party member in all party member. This shows that students' understanding of the party and party spirit is immature. Many of them stayed in party member because of their understanding of advanced groups, and even linked party member with their own interests. It reflects the misunderstanding of students' political ideals.
2. In the evaluation of learning purpose, 63% students choose to change their fate with knowledge, 68% students choose to find a better job, 42% students choose a diploma, 13% students choose family needs, and 6% students choose the social status of college students. The results show that students study more for work and improving their future life, and some are passive or have unclear learning motivation.
3.34% students choose to believe in fate, 76% students choose knowledge to change fate, 25% students choose opportunity, and interpersonal relationships sometimes determine fate. The results show that a considerable number of students are relatively negative about life and passively rely on fate instead of hard work; Depend on the environment rather than itself.
4.52% students chose a clear ideal, 76% students chose their ideal job now, 38% students thought they were confused, and 32% students filled out specific life and career plans, such as starting a business, engaging in professional posts, developing personal interests, etc. The results show that a considerable number of students have no clear life planning and life goals, and their social orientation is serious, and their ideal interests are not considered enough.
5. Among the options to measure success, 77% students chose salary, 2 1% chose professional position, 2% chose social popularity and 42% chose social contribution. This choice shows that the materialistic social bad values have seriously affected students' cognition of success.
6. In the way of receiving information, 63% chose the Internet, 12% chose newspapers and magazines, 72% chose television, 36% chose social practice and 47% chose to communicate with people. The results show that the power of traditional media in receiving information and influence is weakening, and the network is gradually becoming more choices. At the same time, it is gratifying that more students choose multiple choices, and it is imperative to be good at using more channels to educate and infect students.
Third, "quality development" strengthens the education of college students' ideals and beliefs bit by bit.
First, strengthen the guidance for college students to learn Marxist philosophy courses. Studying Marxist philosophy and guiding a person's thoughts, speeches and actions with Marxist philosophical views are based on advanced culture to guide the world outlook, values and cultural development direction. To educate college students in ideals and beliefs, we must first strengthen Marxism and party spirit education.
Second, schools should provide targeted education and guidance according to the new characteristics of college students' thinking, study and lifestyle. Make full use of modern educational means, carry out various vivid and concrete patriotic and collectivist series educational activities, and carry forward students' ideals and beliefs of firm dedication to the four modernizations and determination to become talents. Establish quality development plans and personal goals in the class, and integrate personal ideals and goals into the whole university study life.
Thirdly, the education of college students' ideals and beliefs should be integrated into social practice and reflect the requirements of people's all-round development. To create a friendly atmosphere of psychological compatibility and form a good habit of cooperation, we must have a good attitude, gregarious personality and good personality. Schools should help encourage students to make good use of long holidays. Working hours can not only consolidate the technical knowledge learned, but also find out the shortcomings, promote the study of knowledge and technology, and cultivate the spirit of hard work. From class collective public welfare activities to holiday social work practice, strengthen students' cognition and experience of social correct values.
Fourth, strengthen the construction of network positions and establish a "red" website. Guide students to build their own websites, stimulate students' interest, and change and improve themselves in their own way.
Fifth, develop more colorful spare-time life. This can not only expand students' interest, actively guide students to arrange their after-school life healthily, but also improve their comprehensive quality from the dribs and drabs of life. If you live happily and study happily, you can improve your college life for several years in happiness and make your life colorful and full of sunshine.
Sixth, establish and improve the evaluation and certification mechanism. In order to implement quality education, enhance the effect of quality education and improve the enthusiasm of students to implement quality education, it is very important to establish a quality education evaluation system. With the cooperation and coordination of the relevant departments of the school, the quality education is quantified and evaluated, so as to improve the quality of students. At the same time, students can get tangible benefits from the improvement of comprehensive quality of quality education and be encouraged in credits and comprehensive evaluation.
In a word, under the social environment of deepening reform and opening up, it is a new task of ideological and moral construction in colleges and universities to strengthen the education of college students' ideals and beliefs, make them firm in political direction, establish Marxist-Leninist world outlook, outlook on life and values, cultivate good moral quality and become successors and builders of socialist cause. "Quality development" is the key to our discovery, which includes all aspects of students' quality education. If it is continuously improved and implemented, it will play an indelible role in the education of a new generation of college students. With a high sense of political responsibility and a strong sense of urgency, we should seize the historical opportunity of the new century, pay attention to new changes, study new contradictions, solve new problems and explore new ideas.
