Introduction of Health Poverty Alleviation Project in China

On February 1 2002, with the support of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee, the Central Committee of the Agricultural Workers' Democratic Party, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture, the US Food and Drug Administration, the State Post Bureau and other party and government departments, the Foundation and the China Red Cross Foundation launched a large-scale public welfare activity "China Health Poverty Alleviation Project" for ten years.
