Upon the expiration of the isolation period, students in urban schools must have certificates from hospitals of Grade II and above, and students in township schools must have certificates from hospitals of township centers and above. Students can return to school with the original hospital certificate and relevant cases, and can only return to school after being checked by the school doctor (health care teacher) and meeting the requirements of local disease control institutions.
On February 28th, the Municipal Education Bureau and the Municipal Health Planning Commission jointly issued the Work System for Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases in Primary and Secondary Schools in Qingdao, which made relevant requirements for students' health management, prevention and reporting of infectious diseases in primary and secondary schools, ventilation and disinfection, and verification of resumption of classes. It is clearly required in the system that the school health education class should have no less than six class hours per semester, teachers and students should have a physical examination once a year, and conduct eye surveys twice per semester to establish a database of students' physical health. Students must have a qualified hospital certificate before they can resume classes after the infectious diseases are cured and the isolation period expires.
