In this year's Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law Publicity Week, with the implementation of the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law and the Healthy China Action (20 19-2030) as the main line, combined with the characteristics of the occupational population and the occupational health status, we carefully organized and planned and carried out various forms and rich contents of offline and online publicity activities. Occupational disease refers to the diseases caused by workers in enterprises, institutions and individual economic organizations who are exposed to dust, radioactive substances and other toxic and harmful factors when engaged in professional activities. Occupational diseases mentioned in the Law on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases refer to statutory occupational diseases. Occupational diseases are preventable diseases. Preventive measures can be taken to reduce the occurrence of occupational diseases and the harm of occupational diseases to the health of workers. Some occupational pneumoconiosis, once irreversible, is difficult to treat and has a high disability mortality rate, but effective prevention measures can be taken to prevent it.
To eliminate occupational hazards and reduce the concentration or intensity of occupational hazards, the most ideal occupational disease prevention and control measures are to improve the occupational disease prevention and control process and replace high toxic substances with low toxic and non-toxic substances. Adopt advanced technology and technology, adopt remote control operation or automatic operation. Strengthen equipment maintenance to prevent running, running, dripping and leakage. Strengthen ventilation, dust removal and detoxification measures to reduce workers' exposure to occupational hazards. The employing unit shall organize workers to undergo occupational health examination before, during and after leaving the post, and the expenses for occupational health examination shall be borne by the employing unit. Workers can have occupational disease diagnosed by medical and health institutions with occupational disease diagnosis qualifications, and they are local employers, local registered workers or have their habitual residence according to law.
