The Environmental Certification Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection (hereinafter referred to as the "Certification Center") is an institution authorized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and approved by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, which carries out authoritative certification of green products on behalf of the country and grants environmental labels to products.
On the basis of comprehensively popularizing ISO 14000 international environmental management standards, the certification center integrates the theory and method of life cycle assessment, modern environmental management consciousness and clean production technology into product environmental label certification, promotes the development of environment-friendly products, develops eco-industry and circular economy, realizes people-oriented, makes environmental label products a link between the public and sustainable development strategies, and promotes sustainable consumption. The Certification Center adheres to the quality policy of "building a double-green bridge, promoting double-excellent products and creating win-win performance", and transforms the concepts of "double-green" of environmental management system and environmental label products, "double-excellent" of product quality and environmental behavior, and "win-win" of environment and economy into the driving force for China to develop green technology measures.
The certification center integrates the system certification requirements of ISO 900 1 and ISO 1400 1, the guarantee measures of product quality standards and sampling inspection, and the technical requirements of environmental label products into an environmental label guarantee system, pursuing concise documents, effective internal audit system and improvement mechanism, and developing the double-green development model of China enterprises.

Friends of Nature is the first mass non-governmental environmental protection organization approved by the municipal government in China, which was established in March 1994. The purpose announced by Friends of Nature is to carry out public environmental education, advocate green civilization, establish and spread green culture with China characteristics, and promote environmental protection in China. The activities of "Friends of Nature" are funded by membership fees and social sponsorship.
On June 5th, 1993, several sponsors of Friends of Nature held the first spontaneous environmental seminar in China-"Linglong Garden Conference". 1March 3, 9941day, Friends of Nature was founded, marking the birth of the first non-governmental environmental protection organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The founders are Liang Congjie, Liang Xiaoyan and Wang. Among them, Professor Liang Congjie, member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and tutor of China Institute of Culture, is the president, and Professor Yang Dongping, an expert in social culture and education, is the vice president. Founded in 1996, Beijing Global Village is a non-profit non-governmental environmental protection organization dedicated to public environmental education. At present, the global village has 15 full-time staff and thousands of officially registered volunteers. It is the non-governmental liaison station of the United Nations Environmental Protection Agency in China. The purpose of Beijing Global Village is to promote the sustainable development of China by creating mass environmental culture. As an important initiator and promoter of the concept and practice of "green community" in China, Beijing Global Village has been recognized by relevant government departments and invited to give lectures and trainings in more than 20 cities. The Green Community Guidance Manual compiled by Global Village was officially recommended by the State Environmental Protection Administration. Beijing Global Village has accumulated rich experience in rural construction and ecological county construction. The US Department of Agriculture and the US Embassy in China also specially organized a press conference.
