Daxing District, belonging to Beijing, is located in the southern suburb of Beijing, between 39 26' and 39 50' north latitude and11613' ~16 43' east longitude, with a total area of 65433. Daxing District has a warm temperate and semi-humid continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Daxing District was originally regarded as Ji Gu County, which was built by Yan during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. In the second year of Jin Zhenyuan (1 154), Xijin county was renamed Daxing county. On March 2, 200 1 year, Daxing County was abolished and Daxing District was established.
