red

Red urine may be hematuria, or it may be caused by eating red pitaya, beets and other foods recently. If not, please seek medical advice in time.

Squid ink

The brown urine indicates that you are a little dehydrated, so you should replenish water in time. It is also possible that there is something wrong with your liver. Seek medical attention in time.

orange

The orange urine may be due to drinking less water recently or eating food containing pigments, carrots, etc. If not, liver or gallbladder may appear.

black

Melanuria is rare and often occurs in patients with acute intravascular hemolysis. Please see a doctor immediately.

Normal color

Normal urine is light yellow and slightly transparent, indicating adequate drinking water. Urine is colorless and transparent, indicating that drinking water is a little too much recently, so it should be reduced appropriately to prevent water poisoning. If milky white urine is accompanied by symptoms such as dysuria, pain and burning sensation, it may be caused by urinary tract infection. If not recently, it may be a case of familial hypercalcemia. Seek medical attention in time. Blue urine is usually a case of familial hypercalcemia caused by drug treatment, so seek medical attention in time.

Other manifestations of abnormal urine

smell

After urine is excreted, it will be infected by bacteria in the air, thus presenting an ammonia smell, which is a strange smell that we usually smell ourselves. If the urine smells particularly sweet and greasy and tastes like apples, it may be diabetes. If it smells like fish, it's probably a urinary tract infection. The amount of urine is related to body shape and weather. When the amount of sweating is large in summer, the frequency and amount of urination will decrease.

The urine output of infants and adults is also different. The daily urine output of a normal person is about 1500ml, which is equivalent to the amount of a large bucket of drinks. But in any case, the urine volume will not suddenly increase or decrease. If it is diabetes, urine output may increase. If the urine volume decreases sharply, it may be acute renal failure.
