How does the All-China Federation of Trade Unions safeguard workers' rights and interests?

Trade unions at all levels shall safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers according to law and supervise the employers' compliance with labor laws and regulations.

According to Article 88 of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), trade unions at all levels safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers and supervise employers' compliance with labor laws and regulations. Any organization or individual has the right to report and accuse violations of labor laws and regulations.

The labor administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level shall supervise and inspect the employer's compliance with labor laws and regulations according to law, and have the right to stop the violation of labor laws and regulations and order it to make corrections.

1. Organize and guide trade unions at all levels to unswervingly implement the Party's fundamental policy of relying on the working class wholeheartedly, and further highlight and perform their maintenance functions.
