What disease can you see by looking at your tongue?
Tongue plays a defensive role in human health. Healthy people's tongue is reddish and moist, without cracks and dents. However, if the following situations occur, it often indicates that some parts of the body are unhealthy: ● The bright red tongue indicates the lack of nicotinic acid. Less bright tongue coating indicates a lack of vitamin B 12 or folic acid. The tongue is purple or magenta, indicating vitamin B2 deficiency. Low yellow and greasy tongue coating reflects indigestion and loss of appetite, which can also happen in acute hepatitis. The tongue is inflexible, stiff and unclear, which is often a precursor of cerebral vascular rupture or sequelae of stroke. Trembling when sticking out the tongue indicates that the nerve surface is weak or weak after a long illness. Low tongue color is too light, indicating anemia or tissue edema. ● Hypertrophy of tongue may be related to hypothyroidism. Low tongue tingling generally suggests high fever diseases such as pneumonia.
