President Gao Jiahong of Kang "C" Raiders Liver Policy Association: The goal is to eradicate C liver in 2025!

The White Paper on Overcoming Diagnostic Obstacles of Viral Hepatitis recently released by the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) points out that the biggest challenge for countries around the world to eradicate hepatitis C virus is "diagnosis", because nearly 80% of patients in the world do not know that they have been infected. In Taiwan Province Province, the prevalence rate of hepatitis C is 4.4%, which is higher than the global average of 3%, and it is the second biggest killer of liver diseases in China. Gao Jiahong, a professor of the Liver Policy Committee of the Ministry of Education and a national lecture professor, said that in order to achieve the goal of eliminating hepatitis C by the World Health Organization (WHO) in early 2025, people are actively encouraged to seek medical treatment, and the payment conditions for oral new drugs for hepatitis C will be fully relaxed next year 1 month. As long as patients are diagnosed with chronic hepatitis C, they can use all oral new drugs regardless of liver fibrosis.

"Kangbing Raiders" lists 8 high-risk groups-reminding you to actively do screening to confirm whether you are infected with hepatitis C.

Gance Council promoted "Kangc Raiders", listing high-risk groups such as using razors, tattooing eyebrows/embroidered lips, piercing ears or umbilical rings, engaging in risky sex without condoms, undergoing renal dialysis, receiving blood transfusion before 1980, receiving injections or dental treatment from secret doctors or dentists, and using needles. Early detection and treatment of hepatitis C can avoid the risk of liver cirrhosis, liver cancer and extrahepatic lesions in the future.

Gao Jiahong pointed out that according to clinical observation, most patients with hepatitis C in China are over 55 years old, reminding children to pay more attention to their elders at home and confirm whether they are infected. In addition, in addition to private health checkups, employee health checkups, etc. , you can use the screening channels provided by * * *, such as county-city integrated health screening,1people born in or after 955, who are over 45 years old, can provide lifelong hepatitis B and hepatitis C screening together with adult preventive care provided by the national health administrative department.

Actively cure C liver and have the opportunity to make Chai liver soft.

Although there is no vaccine for hepatitis C, it can be cured. Radical treatment of liver C can not only greatly reduce the incidence of 7 1% liver cancer, but also reduce the risk of extrahepatic diseases, such as end-stage renal disease, ischemic stroke, acute coronary syndrome, autoimmune diseases and so on. Professor Peng Chengyuan, director of the Department of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, pointed out that the degree of liver fibrosis is an important indicator of liver cirrhosis and liver cancer, but there is no drug to reverse liver fibrosis. However, it has been found that chronic inflammation persists in the liver of patients with hepatitis C. If it has not evolved into moderate fibrosis or only mild fibrosis, the risk of liver cancer is expected to be minimized as long as the virus is actively treated and eradicated.

Recently, a study completed by doctors affiliated to China Medical University found that the earlier treatment, the greater the chance of fibrosis softening. Peng Chengyuan said that this follow-up study lasted 15 years and analyzed nearly 200 patients with hepatitis C. After three years of treatment to eradicate hepatitis C virus, they were examined again. The results show that more than 90% of patients have stopped liver fibrosis and continue to deteriorate, and even nearly 50% of patients can reverse liver fibrosis.

Among them, if a patient suffers from moderate hepatic fibrosis (F2) before treatment, up to 67% of his liver can "soften" and return to mild fibrosis (F 1) after cure. Severe liver fibrosis (F3) was found before treatment, of which 28% still reversed liver fibrosis, but the degree of softening was not as good as that of early treatment. Similar results can be found in both traditional interferon therapy and oral antiviral drugs. This study also found that the younger the patient, the lighter the degree of liver fibrosis, which is an important indicator of liver softening. Professor Peng Chengyuan appealed to patients for early treatment and gave the liver a chance to turn things around.

Peng Chengyuan shared that a familiar elder suffered from hepatitis C. At first, because the degree of liver fibrosis was not serious and there were no obvious symptoms, the elder did not actively treat it. He repeatedly reminded his elders to go back for follow-up, but the elders turned a deaf ear and did not actively seek medical treatment until it deteriorated into liver cancer. He also reminded that the liver is a silent organ. If the hepatitis C virus is not treated and eradicated, the cells will continue to be chronically damaged after repeated inflammation. After scar repair, the connective tissue in the liver will increase abnormally and gradually harden, and there will be no pain and discomfort caused by liver fibrosis. He reminded people infected with hepatitis C that early treatment can avoid liver cirrhosis and liver cancer.

Peng Chengyuan further explained? The side effects of the new oral hepatitis C drug are extremely low, and the cure rate is as high as 97%. Health insurance has paid for six new oral drugs, including five drugs for specific genotypes and one pan-genotype drug. These six drugs cover six genotypes in Taiwan Province province, and the course of treatment ranges from 8 weeks to 24 weeks. Once in a lifetime, people have the opportunity to get medical insurance to treat hepatitis C with all new oral drugs, and encourage domestic hepatitis C infected people to be treated and cured early.
