1. Oiling method: Dip a small amount of vegetable oil (preferably not too much oil) with cotton cloth or paper towel, wipe the surface of the iron pan evenly, then put the pan upside down in the oven and heat it at about 200℃ for 20~30 minutes.
2. Potato method: Peel 2-3 medium-sized potatoes, cut them into thin slices, put them in a pot, add cold water, and boil them for 10~ 15 minutes. Then pour out the potatoes, add vegetable oil, heat the pot until the temperature rises slightly, and keep the temperature for 5~ 10 minutes.
3. Pure heat method: generally use a new iron pot and burn it for 2-3 hours. Therefore, before the first use, the wok is heated at medium temperature for two hours to ensure that the interior is completely dry, and then the wok is heated to high temperature to make the surface of the wok brown and metallic.
These methods can play a good role in maintaining the iron pot. It should be noted that in the process of lifting the pot, never brush the pot with a brush such as detergent, which will damage the surface of the pot. Wooden or silicone kitchenware is recommended.
