How to check the running status of solid-state hard disk

Only Intel SSD is used to check the data of hard disk life in the whole network. It's unfair to poor users like us who can only use Crucial and OCZ. For example, I really can't check the life of other manufacturers' SSDs through RAID cards?

After research, all commands to view ssd, as long as they pass RAID, need to use MegaCli and smartCtl to obtain the usage of SSD disk. After careful study, I am currently using.

The RAID cards are LSI logic/symbioslogic megaraid SAS1078 and 2 108. Use common MegaCli query:

This is the download address:

Mega CLI 5 of Centos

Mega CLI 6 of Centos

The whole process is divided into two steps. Step one, get the information of the subsequent hard disk from the RAID card. Next, smartCtl is used to display the details of the hard disk.

Use MegaCli to get hard disk information under RAID card:

Then use the following command:

/opt/mega raid/mega CLI/mega CLI 64-PD list-aALL

This can find out the contents under the RAID card. It will appear as follows:

Cabinet equipment ID: 252

Slot number: 7
