Namely: urban and rural residents' health records management, health education, vaccination, health management of children aged 0-6, maternal health management, health management of the elderly, health management of patients with chronic diseases (hypertension and diabetes), health management of patients with severe mental disorders, reporting and handling services of infectious diseases and public emergencies, health management of traditional Chinese medicine, health and family planning supervision and co-management services, free provision of contraceptives and health literacy promotion actions.

Basic medical and health services include basic public health services and basic medical services. The state provides basic public health services free of charge.
