The Historical Evolution of Cai Lifo Boxing

Cai Lifo Boxing is one of the outstanding boxing styles in Nanquan. The routines are diverse and rich in content, focusing on the coordination of attack and defense, flexible and steady footwork, both rigid and flexible momentum, and paying attention to both sound and emotion, demanding both sound and emotion. The action is generous and the boxing is magnificent.

Cai Lifo Boxing, as its name implies, is a combination of three boxing methods. But this Cai does not refer to the "Cai" in the five famous fists of Hong, Liu, Cai, Li and Mo in Guangdong Province. The founders of the five famous boxing are disciples of the Supreme Zen Master of Shaolin Temple in Fujian. That "Cai" refers to Cai Zhanguang, a native of Panyu County, Guangdong Province. The word "Cai" in Cai Lifo Boxing refers to Cai Fu in Baiheguan, Luofu Mountain, Guangdong Province. In addition, "Buddha" does not refer to the "Buddha" of Nanquan, which is still circulating in the contemporary era, but is only used to express the boxing method of a single-stick monk. The founder of Cai Lifo Boxing is Sean. A native of Jingmei Township, Xinhui County, Guangdong Province.

Sean loved martial arts since childhood. 12 years old (actually seven years old-the fist of the ancestors will be corrected) officially followed Chen Yuan, the uncle of the same village, and laid a solid martial arts foundation from an early age. /Kloc-When he was 0/7 years old, he studied with Li Youshan, a native of Qibao Village, Xinhui County, and learned Li Family Boxing. Li Youshan, the founder of Li Family Boxing, one of the five famous boxing in Guangdong, is the tallest and most kind monk. By the time Sean was 22, his boxing was quite pure, but he was not satisfied. He went to Heguan, Luofu Mountain, Guangdong Province, to learn boxing from Cai Fu. One study is ten years. During this period, Sean also got the guidance of Bai Yufeng, a charlatan who often went to Caifu. Bai Yufeng's boxing is similar to that of Northern Boxing, but his legs are more elaborate.

Sean went down at the age of 32. During his long martial arts career, he seriously studied various boxing techniques, integrated Chen Yuanhu, Li Youshan and Cai Fu, created a new boxing routine and formed a unique style, named "Cai Lifo Boxing". The name means not to forget what the teacher taught.

Cai Fu's technique is the best, and he is the highest among the three schools, so the word "Cai" ranks first, and because Chen Yuan's fist method of using palm method is learned from a single-stick monk in Dinghushan, Guangdong Province, and that monk is a Buddhist, so he uses the word "Buddha" to represent it.

Sean created 49 sets of Cai Lifo Boxing and 29 sets of advanced boxing. There are ten sets of advanced boxing routines named after dragons, snakes, tigers, leopards, cranes, elephants, horses, monkeys and tigers, as well as dragon and tiger boxing, tiger and leopard boxing, five-shaped boxing, cross boxing, one-legged boxing, Buddha's palm and routines with the word "eight diagrams". In terms of technical content, high, middle and primary boxing all include three techniques, and the primary boxing is mainly Li Jiaquan. Among Cai Lifo's advanced boxing methods, there is a set called "White Hair Boxing", which was created by Sean mainly imitating Bai Yufeng's boxing methods.

"Cai Lifo Boxing" has been born for over 170 years, enduring for a long time. Besides his superb boxing skills, it is also inseparable from Sean's prestige.

After leaving Luofu Mountain, Sean returned to his hometown Xinhui County and set up a museum in Jiangmen as a disciple (at that time, the museum was named "Hongsheng Pavilion"). Subsequently, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement rose, and Sean took part in the Guangdong "Heaven and Earth Society" armed uprising led by his cousin Chen Songnian, marched into the provincial capital and seized Guangzhou. But the uprising failed, and Chen Songnian was captured and died. Sean had to lead the remnants eastward. When retreating to Zengcheng, it was surrounded by the Qing army. The rebels were dispersed by the enemy when they broke through. Sean fled to Hong Kong alone, and then transferred from Hong Kong to Nanyang.

Sean made a living by teaching boxing in ports such as Wumeng, Minggu and Bacheng. A set of iron arrow boxing, with more than 200 moves, has been taught all over Nanyang, and is called Cai Lifo's long fist. Later, Sean won a high reputation for his exquisite boxing.

At that time, there was a bully named Chris in Jinshan Dabu (not San Francisco, USA), who was very powerful. He claims to be a strong man in the world. He always bullies overseas Chinese, especially collecting so-called chronologies from overseas Chinese. Whoever doesn't pay will be devastated by his fists and feet. The local government also ignored the rights and interests of overseas Chinese. Chris is more fearless. Overseas Chinese had to run to Nanyang and hire Sean to uphold justice in the name of the local Huaxia. Sean was a patriot. When he heard that his overseas Chinese were tortured by bullies, he was very angry and applied immediately.

When Sean arrived at Jinshan Dabu, he first negotiated with Chris and persuaded him to cancel the annual regulations. But Kirsch didn't learn China's martial arts, thought he was invincible in the world, and even put forward an open contest. Therefore, the two made a life and death document and asked local celebrities to notarize it.

After the game started, Kirsch stormed Sean's key with fierce fists. However, Sean deliberately consumed his physical strength to paralyze his thoughts and took the defensive first. Because Sean's skill is flexible, and Cai Lifu's boxing is good at walking, Sean used various styles of play when Giles stormed. He suddenly advanced and retreated, living like a leaf floating, twitching left and right, and correcting the dragon like water. Chris flew into a rage when he saw that his fist failed. He always wanted to kill Sean with one punch. But the more urgent sex is, the more reckless it is. Finally, Chris failed with his fists, followed by his right foot, and kicked Sean's heart with his life skills. But Sean was not afraid. He leaned over slightly calmly, used one of Cai Lifo's tricks, "riding a dragon and raising his palm", held Kirsch's feet across and threw him ten feet away. After Chris fell to the ground, Sean stopped attacking. However, Chris didn't know what was good and what was bad, so he got up and started fighting again. Results Sean hit his right elbow on the chest, fractured his sternum and vomited blood to the ground. Although Sean had a book of life and death, he didn't take the opportunity to sneak attack and kill Kirsch. Because Sean knew that the purpose of this trip was to fight for the rights and interests of overseas Chinese, not to kill Kirsch. So Sean had Kirsch picked up, sat him down, and treated him with Shaolin bone-breaking medicine. In less than a month, he brought Chris back to health. Since then, Chris has never bullied overseas Chinese. Sean is even more famous overseas.
