Traditional Chinese medicine theory holds that "kidney is the foundation of nature and the root of life"; The strength of kidney essence is related to human growth and aging. Traditional Chinese medicine uses medicated diet, tea, exercise and other conditioning methods to nourish, protect and strengthen the kidney, which can enhance renal function, make people healthy, radiant, black-haired, prolong life, and improve human immunity and disease resistance.
Kidney is the innate foundation, and Chinese medicine emphasizes protecting kidney, strengthening kidney and tonifying kidney, so that yin and yang are sufficient; The kidney is full of vitality, which is the best foundation for maintaining life.
Kidney is the foundation of nature and the root of life.
Kidney is a very important part of the whole life process, and it is the main organ in charge of the human urogenital system. Chen Wangquan, chairman of the All-China Federation of Physicians of Traditional Chinese Medicine and professor of traditional Chinese medicine after bachelor's degree in Yishou University, said: "Kidney is the innate qi and the beginning of heredity." Kidney is the "innate qi" and "innate foundation", which is the most basic and the root of life, especially related to embryonic development. First of all, there needs to be qi between male and female kidneys. "Kidney can be said to be the root of essence, qi and spirit", and Chinese medicine especially emphasizes its balance of yin and yang.
The five internal organs have a great relationship with the kidney. Chen Wangquan pointed out that liver cirrhosis and liver cancer, due to poor liver function, will also affect abnormal renal metabolism, leading to uremia, ammonia content is too high, and the kidney must be washed. The importance of the kidney appeared as early as the embryonic development. Modern children will have a physical examination when they reach school age, and they need to have a urine test to check whether the renal function is normal, whether there is high urine protein or blood sugar, whether there is congenital 1 type diabetes, or whether there is immune function problem. Abnormal renal function may also cause allergies in children.
Kidney conditioning is the key, emphasizing the balance of yin and yang.
The most common kidney problems are mainly "kidney yang deficiency" and "kidney yin deficiency". Among them, kidney-yang deficiency is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, and it is easy to have symptoms such as chills, cold hands and feet, frequent urination and poor stool. Young people may also have kidney-yang deficiency due to the influence of school, work or emotional pressure; If it happens to teenagers, it will cause children's developmental retardation and low IQ.
Kidney yin deficiency is often caused by staying up late to study or work, especially those who are busy at work, have little exercise, consume too much, are easily nervous, have poor living habits, and like smoking and drinking. Patients with chronic diseases are more prone to kidney yin deficiency.
Kidney is the main key to conditioning. Chen Wangquan emphasized that if the kidney function is normal, there is no problem, the growth and development are good, and the disease resistance is good, the whole person will be alert, good in memory, clear in mind, radiant and black in hair.
The kidney is the most primitive and important organ. In terms of medication, recessive conditioning is the main method. It will not be treated by catharsis and cold medicine, but the kidney should be nourished, protected and cared to avoid deficiency.
Four Symptomatic Countermeasures for Tonifying Kidney
From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, there are four kinds of kidney problems, namely "kidney yang deficiency", "kidney yin deficiency", "kidney qi deficiency" and "kidney does not accept qi". Chen Wangquan pointed out that different symptoms have different conditioning strategies, and it is appropriate for doctors to use drugs according to their personal physique.
Kidney yang deficiency
The most worrying thing is the symptoms of "kidney yang deficiency", that is, kidney diseases such as chronic nephritis, pyelonephritis, adrenal cortex dysfunction and sexual dysfunction in modern medicine. This is common among young people, developing people and the elderly. The reason is congenital deficiency or malnutrition, frequent illness, easy to suffer from 1 type diabetes, usually accompanied by urinary protein.
◆ Symptoms: cold limbs (the same in summer) and poor spirits all day; The most obvious is frequent backache; It is easy to get dizzy and tinnitus when sleeping; Easy to have loose bowels and soft stools.
◆ Countermeasures: To warm and tonify kidney yang. The medicine can be decocted with cinnamon, aconite, dried ginger (turmeric), epimedium and angelica, but the dosage depends on the individual's physique and must be checked and quantified by a doctor.
Kidney yin deficiency
Empirical medicine has found that diabetes accounts for the majority, or diabetes insipidus, enuresis, or menopausal syndrome of women such as hot flashes, insomnia, anemia and liver or other metabolic related diseases.
◆ Symptoms: Looks emaciated and weak, dizziness, tinnitus behind the ears, sleep disorder, forgetfulness, backache, etc.
◆ Countermeasures: Nourish yin and tonify kidney. Is prepared from Fructus Lycii, Corni Fructus, Polygoni Multiflori Radix, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi and Radix Rehmanniae Preparata.
Deficiency of kidney qi
Deficiency and instability of kidney qi are mostly caused by chronic patients with long-term physical weakness, or they are very old and lack of kidney qi, and may also have other related diseases when they are young, such as enuresis, enuresis and nocturia. Ordinary people will urinate frequently, and the prostate will be enlarged, resulting in urine leakage or dripping after urination.
◆ Symptoms: It looks depressed, depressed and anxious; Children have nocturia, enuresis, etc.
◆ Countermeasures: We should firmly absorb kidney qi. Cherokee rose, dodder, Schisandra chinensis, Ligustrum lucidum, Alpinia oxyphylla and Lycium barbarum can be used as food in medicine.
Failure of kidney to absorb qi
Problems related to qi and blood circulation, such as asthma, emphysema, renal edema, and blocked metabolism, will all lead to poor kidney qi.
◆ Symptoms: shortness of breath, wheezing, lack of oxygen due to excessive breathing and low inhalation, wheezing at the slightest movement, sweating when coughing, chills in limbs (not cold enough), chills (fear of wind and cold), occasional edema of face and feet, and poor water metabolism.
◆ Countermeasures: To tonify the kidney. Qi deficiency can supplement Codonopsis pilosula, Panax quinquefolium, Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Dioscoreae or Poria. Whether a person's kidney qi is well adjusted can be seen from his walking speed, standing posture, complexion and speaking speed. If hair loss, hair loss and hair color are not black, it is kidney qi deficiency. Nourishing kidney qi can make yin and yang sufficient and kidney essence sufficient, which is the best basis for maintaining life.

*** 4 acupoints for strengthening kidney.
* * * Acupoints can also achieve a good effect of protecting and strengthening the kidney. The four acupoints recommended by Chen Wangquan are as follows:
◆ Kidney point and Mingmen point: The kidney point is at the midpoint of the first section of the little finger on the finger, and Mingmen point is at the midpoint of the second section of the little finger. Usually, you can press it anytime and anywhere with your fingertips or income-based nib, regardless of time, by plane or high-speed rail.
◆ Guanyuan Point: Four horizontal fingers (about three inches) under the navel. After taking a bath or before getting up in the morning, blow with a hair dryer at low speed and low temperature for 5 minutes to warm Guanyuan point, which can make blood circulation good.
Yongquan point: Like the spring of water, it is located in the first third of the sole and palm, and is the most important point of the kidney meridian. Usually, when watching TV at night or when you are free, it is better to press it. Can be used for preventing and treating asthma, soreness of waist and knees, insomnia, dreaminess, dizziness, headache, hypertension and tinnitus in the elderly, and can be used with fingertips or pen tips.
◆ Taixi point: located between the medial malleolus and the heel, it is the primary point of the kidney meridian and the main point with the strongest essence, which can nourish kidney yin, tonify kidney qi, strengthen kidney yang and regulate women's uterus and ovaries. You can click this point when you have time. Older people can keep a clear head, clear eyes and warm feet. It is suggested that patients press 1 time every day or press 1 time every week, and soak in warm water (about 38℃ to 39℃) for 10 minute, and soak Yongquan (the first point of kidney meridian) and Taixi (the first point of kidney meridian) at the same time.
Follow the practice of shrinking anus to protect kidney.
People can practice "anus contraction and kidney protection exercises" every day. Chen Wangquan emphasized that "anus contraction 100 times a day, 100% is healthy. It is best to do this kidney-protecting exercise 2 hours before going to bed at night, but it should not exceed 10 pm at the latest.
