Located in the northeast of Guangzhou, it is one of the famous mountains in South Guangdong, and has been called "the first show in Yangcheng" since ancient times. This mountain is quite wide and consists of more than 30 peaks. It is a branch of Jiulian Mountain, the highest peak in Guangdong. The main peak, Moxingling, covers an area of 20.98 square kilometers and is 382 meters high, with overlapping peaks and green streams. Climbing up can overlook the whole city and the Pearl River. Whenever it is sunny after rain or at the end of spring, the mountains are surrounded by white clouds and become a spectacle, hence the name Baiyun Mountain.
Baiyun Mountain has beautiful scenery and has been a famous scenic spot in Guangzhou since ancient times. For example, Pu Jian Li Anquan, White Clouds Looking at the Night and Jingtai Monk's Return are all listed in the ancient "Eight Scenes of Yangcheng".
