On learning changes in the implementation of physical education and health curriculum standards

The new curriculum standard abandons the "subject-centered" teaching mode of basic education curriculum in China in the past, and more fully highlights that the center of teaching is the subject of students. Focusing on students' development, emphasizing "strengthening students' physique" and promoting students' physical health, psychological health and social adaptation under the guiding ideology of "health first". Therefore, the new curriculum standard puts forward five goals from the perspective of development, namely: sports participation; Motor skills; Physical development; Psychological development; Social adaptation. Compared with the three major tasks, these five goals are more perfect and specific. In terms of training talents, it is conducive to the development of students' physical and mental health, to the publicity of students' personality, and to modern social education and the future of society.

In the study of the five learning areas stipulated in the curriculum standard of physical education and health, we should first make clear the relationship between the learning goal of "motor skills" and the other four learning goals.

"Sports participation" is the premise of implementing school sports group teaching; For students, it is an attitude problem, which should be attributed to "mental health". To some extent, "active participation", "formation and cultivation of interest", "daring to show oneself" and "observing and evaluating peers" are closely related to our PE teachers' ideological education, manners and teaching methods in the process of imparting sports techniques.

"Good health" refers to developing and strengthening physical fitness, which is obviously one of the goals that physical education courses must achieve, but it is easier said than done. With the implementation of the new curriculum standards, middle schools have two hours of physical education class every week. In such a short time of study and practice, it is difficult to cause reasonable and profound exercise load on human physiological function, and the fitness effect is not obvious.

The results of national physical fitness tests in recent years show that the physical fitness of students in China is still on the decline, which is very worrying. On the one hand, students' nutritional level has improved, but on the other hand, their physical fitness and physical fitness are declining. Physical education teachers generally reflect that students are afraid of hardship, sun exposure and sweating when they go to physical education class. All these reflect that the quality of students' will is declining. How to grasp the amount of exercise students practice, how to achieve the best fitness effect, and how to closely combine physical education class with extracurricular activities are issues worthy of our consideration.

A scholar thinks: sports ability+sports quality = physical strength+physical quality = physical strength; Physical strength+ability to adapt to the outside world = physical strength; Physical fitness+body shape = physical fitness. Therefore, good physical strength and good athletic ability are by no means good physical fitness, and athletic ability and physical fitness are also very different; Good athletic ability is far from good physical strength and physical strength. Therefore, good sports ability does not mean good physical fitness, good health, and enhancing physical fitness can never be achieved by physical exercise alone.

"Mental health" and "social adaptation" have goals, but there is no detailed learning content. The goal of "sports skills" and the goals of "mental health" and "social adaptation" are progressive, which can only be achieved through learning, instilling and accumulating some knowledge.

In the process of implementing the new curriculum standards, some physical education teachers mistakenly set the goals in five fields when setting their learning goals, so that they don't care about primary and secondary. Therefore, in teaching practice, we should emphasize that the five fields are inseparable. Grasp the core field of "motor skills" and apply new teaching modes, methods and means to the learning content, so that other learning goals can run through.
