Maternal women must eat hot vegetables and hot fruits (heated with hot water).
Postpartum precautions:
1. Be sure to urinate within 4~6 hours after delivery, even if you don't feel anything. Because your baby has been holding the bladder during pregnancy, once the baby is born, the bladder pressure will be reduced and it will swell unconsciously. When you want to urinate, you will be too stressed to discharge. If you can't get it out all the time, you should have catheterization and add unnecessary trouble to yourself.
2. The lochia will be less and less 2 weeks after delivery. If the amount does not decrease, see a doctor.
3. The wound has a side cut of about 2 cm, usually on the left side, so contrary to pregnancy, you should sleep on the other side of the wound, that is, the right side, to help the wound recover. (Cesarean section didn't say)
4. Clean the buttocks and cool the lochia with boiling water at a temperature of 40~50 degrees. Pour it into a clean basin specially used for washing PP and hang PP in water. Don't sit at the end. If the basin is large, separate your legs, otherwise put your legs together. Sit for 20 minutes. If the water gets cold during this period, heat the boiling water to keep the temperature. And sit in the water and lift the anus to contract the perineum 7~8 times. It is said that it is good for hemorrhoids and can maintain perineal elasticity. I think we should wash the vulva and anus first, otherwise the water will still be dirty. )
5. the delivery room should be ventilated, at least around 9 o'clock every day, when the sun comes out at 3-4 pm. At least twice a day for 30 minutes each time. When it is ventilated, mother and baby can stay in another room, or take shelter from the wind and don't blow against the wind.
6. Maternal women are prone to sweating and should be wiped in four parts every day. Take off the left side of the coat and wipe it, then put it on immediately, followed by the right half, left leg and right leg. You can't take off all your clothes at once, or you will catch a cold easily. Take a bath until the wound heals. It must be a shower, and the room temperature should not be too low. Be sure to brush your teeth, but use a small children's toothbrush (soft hair) because of gum problems.
7. confinement is not confinement. 6 ~ 8 hours after delivery and 48 hours after laparotomy, you should get up and move, and walk on your own.
Be careful not to bend over, change the baby's diaper and sit down, otherwise it will damage the waist.
8. Diet principle: balanced and comprehensive
1) Don't eat greasy food for the first three days after delivery, but be light, because the mammary duct is not opened at this time, and the milk will be blocked in the breast after taking supplements. At this time, the baby eats less and sucks less, so you are waiting to suffer. If the milk rises and fails, it will be very painful. What I want to eat is porridge, or sweet potato porridge, small wonton, and shrimp noodles at most.
2) Mothers must eat hot vegetables and hot fruits (heated with hot water).
3) All hot things: red dates and longan, ham, old hen, and so on. Don't eat lochia until it is clean, otherwise it will still be unclean.
4) Red meat (pigs, cattle and sheep) and white meat (chickens, ducks and shrimps) are eaten alternately. Red meat supplements iron, while white meat mainly comes from protein, with up to 2 eggs a day.
5) Don't forget to eat the meat in the soup. The nutrition in the soup is up to 25%, and the rest is in the meat.
9. Protect your breasts
1) Wipe the breast with a special towel. This towel can't be washed with washing powder or soap, because it needs to be wiped many times a day. The alkalinity of soap will stimulate nipples, and it will easily crack if used too much. Wipe your breasts after scalding with boiling water. Don't use gauze, wool will remain on the nipple, which is easy to block. After wiping, at most, use cooking oil to wipe a little on the nipple to protect the areola.
2) Let the child hold most of the areola when sucking. Just sucking the nipple won't suck much, and it will also cause harm to the nipple. Pull down his chin slightly and let his mouth open wider to accommodate most of the areola.
10. Give birth naturally for 2 months, have sex after caesarean section for 3 months, and pay attention to contraception. Curettage after giving birth to a child is very harmful to the uterus. If it is infected, it is necessary to remove the uterus.
1 1. Hair doctors suggest cutting it short, because postpartum hormone levels drop rapidly, which will lead to hair loss. If the hair is long, it will definitely look much better than short hair. Moreover, it takes 7~ 10 days to wash your hair after childbirth, and with a lot of sweating, it is definitely uncomfortable to wear your hair for a long time. Maternal hair can be combed, but choose wide teeth and gently massage the scalp.
12. By the way, the chest pad should be replaced in time, and don't wait until the chest pad is hard. The same is true of bras. The principle is not to let anything hard irritate the nipple, otherwise it will break easily. In addition, you should lie on the bed, where you wipe your body is exposed, and cover the rest with a quilt. Keeping warm is the most important thing, and postpartum colds are not easy to recover.
