Hangzhou Medical College is located in Hangzhou, which enjoys the reputation of "paradise on earth". Historical evolution: Hangzhou Medical College, formerly known as Zhejiang Women's Obstetrics School founded by 1925, was upgraded to an undergraduate medical college in 20 16 after Zhejiang Higher Medical Vocational School, Zhejiang Health School and Zhejiang Medical College. Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences, formerly known as Hangzhou Institute of Tropical Diseases, was founded in 1928. Zhejiang Health Laboratory, Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences, Zhejiang People's Health Laboratory and Zhejiang Medical Research Institute were renamed Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences on 1987.
