Mental health standards of middle school students

The standard of middle school students' mental health is defined by the United Nations World Health Organization as: the so-called health lies not only in the absence of disease, but also in physical health, mental health, good social adaptation and moral health. It can be seen that mental health is an important content to measure whether a person is really healthy. So, what is the standard of middle school students' mental health?

First, normal intelligence. Whether the intellectual development is normal or not is one of the important standards to measure the mental health of middle school students. Normal intelligence is the most basic psychological condition for middle school students to learn. Usually we regard people with IQ above 90 as normal.

Second, stabilize the mood. Emotional stability and optimism are important criteria for middle school students' mental health, while moodiness is a manifestation of mental health. It is also a bad mood to feel ashamed and complain about others.

Third, moderate response. People's behavioral responses are different, some are fast and some are slow. But there is a certain limit to this difference, and it is not normal to exceed a certain limit.

Fourth, harmonious interpersonal relationships. Middle school students with mental health are good at understanding, respecting, trusting and helping others, sincerely and humbly developing and maintaining harmonious interpersonal relationships, and are willing to associate with others. On the contrary, staying away from relatives and friends, from the collective, and from loneliness may mean that interpersonal imbalance begins to appear.

5. Both psychology and behavior are school-age. Different ages have different psychological and behavioral characteristics. Middle school students with mental health should have the psychology and behavior suitable for their age characteristics. If their psychology and behavior often deviate from their age characteristics, such as being old-fashioned, senile or naive, it is not normal to cry and laugh for a while.

The above mental health standards can be referred to. Middle school students can adjust themselves if they deviate from the above standards. If there is a big deviation, they should seek the help of special psychological counseling institutions.
