CCTV- 1 (China Central Television Integrated Channel) was officially launched on September 2, 1958, covering the whole country through satellites such as Zhongxing 6B, CIGNA III, Asia-Pacific VI and Zhongxing IX. It is the earliest and most influential comprehensive channel of China CCTV.
