1, Drug Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC)
Article 50 The names of drugs listed in the national drug standards are generic names of drugs. If it has been used as a generic name of a drug, the name shall not be used as a drug trademark.
Article 51 Staff members of pharmaceutical production enterprises, pharmaceutical trading enterprises and medical institutions who are in direct contact with drugs must undergo health examination every year. Persons suffering from infectious diseases or other diseases that may contaminate drugs shall not engage in direct contact with drugs.
2. People's Republic of China (PRC) Frontier Health and Quarantine Law
Article 4 Entry and exit persons, means of transport, transportation equipment, luggage, goods, postal parcels and other articles that may spread quarantinable infectious diseases shall be quarantined, and they shall not enter or leave the country without the approval of the frontier health and quarantine office. Specific measures shall be stipulated in the detailed rules for the implementation of this law.
Article 5 When a frontier health and quarantine office discovers a quarantinable infectious disease or a suspected quarantinable infectious disease, it must, in addition to taking necessary measures, immediately notify the local health administrative department, and at the same time report it to the the State Council health administrative department by the fastest method, but no later than 24 hours. Posts and telecommunications departments should give priority to the transmission of epidemic reports.
3. Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases
Article 4 Infectious atypical pneumonia in Class B infectious diseases, pulmonary anthrax in anthrax and human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza shall take preventive and control measures against Class A infectious diseases as stipulated in this Law. If other Class B infectious diseases and infectious diseases with unknown causes need to take the measures of prevention and control of Class A infectious diseases as mentioned in this Law, the administrative department of public health of the State Council shall promptly report to the State Council for approval before promulgation and implementation.
4. Maternal and Child Health Care Law of the People's Republic of China
Article 7 Medical and health institutions shall provide premarital health care services for citizens.
Pre-marital health care services include the following:
(1) Premarital health guidance: education on sexual health knowledge, fertility knowledge and genetic diseases;
(2) Premarital health consultation: providing medical advice on issues related to marriage and reproductive health care;
(3) Pre-marital medical examination: medical examination for both men and women who are preparing to get married who may have diseases that affect marriage and childbearing.
5. People's Republic of China (PRC) Blood Donation Law
Article 8 Blood stations are institutions that collect and provide blood for clinical use, and are non-profit-making public welfare organizations. The establishment of blood stations to collect citizens' blood must be approved by the health administrative department of the State Council or the health administrative department of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Blood stations should provide all kinds of safe, hygienic and convenient conditions for blood donors. The establishment conditions and management measures of blood stations shall be formulated by the administrative department of health of the State Council.
