The infrared thermometer in industrial environment has a wide temperature range, generally ranging from-60℃ to 500℃ or even as high as 2000℃, to adapt to various industrial applications. Wide temperature range means that the measurement accuracy needs to be weighed. The average error coefficient of industrial/environmental infrared thermometer is about1~1.5 C.
In contrast, the medical infrared thermometer requires higher measurement accuracy. Because the temperature of human body is relatively constant, the measurement range of medical infrared thermometer is generally between 32℃ and 42.5℃, and the temperature measurement accuracy can reach 0.65438 0℃. Considering that the difference between healthy and unhealthy is only a few degrees, industrial infrared thermometer cannot be applied to human body temperature measurement. Medical infrared thermometer is suitable for schools, hospitals, stations, airports, administrative centers and other places with large traffic.
