Over the past few years, I have made some preliminary explorations and experiences on students' mental health education in the work of class teachers.
First, understanding the psychological characteristics of students is the primary link of work.
Everyone has their own psychological characteristics, and the head teacher should conduct a general survey of the whole class after taking over the new class. Methods Questionnaire survey, individual conversation and home visit.
In the survey, we can find out whether there is a place in students' hearts to talk about, in other words, whether someone listens to them.
At the same time, we can know whether students' self-regulation ability is extroverted or introverted.
In the investigation, I learned that some students have outstanding personalities and should pay attention to individual psychological counseling.
One classmate obviously can't adjust himself, and even has a slight nervousness. If there is something unpleasant, say it, and cry when it is serious, regardless of class. If we use traditional education methods, it won't work for her. I use the command method. For example, when she feels that she should be praised, she will look for opportunities to make up for it, or make up for her alone below; After crying several times in class, I took her to the office and told her quietly. Sometimes, just for a little thing, teachers have to listen patiently. This can't be compared with indulging students' environmental problems, and the improper performance of psychological activities can only be adjusted by losing guidance. Because the teacher does this, most students in the class can understand her and create a harmonious and warm psychological environment. After the model exam in senior three, she thought she didn't do well in the exam. She cried as soon as she saw the teacher. In fact, she was nervous and tired. At this time, I don't think it is necessary to comfort her with words. She can vent in this way, so she can cry happily. I stood opposite and held her shoulder to watch her cry. After she cried, she looked around and smiled again. Everyone laughed. Her mood finally calmed down.
After being admitted to the university, the New Year card she sent me read: "Thank you, Miss Li, for cultivating me with love and patience. I wish you health and happiness forever. "
Second, create a self-regulating environment to enable students to grow psychologically.
In the absence of mental health classes, special lectures can be held. For example, how to overcome pre-test anxiety; "Friendship and Love" class; Relevant contents of educational psychology; Intellectual factors and non-intellectual factors in learning and so on. On the one hand, these courses impart knowledge, and more importantly, they understand themselves from a psychological point of view, cultivate a good attitude, adapt to the environment and overcome psychological discomfort.
High school students have a heavy learning task, facing the examination of national elections, and their physical development has entered a mature age, and their sexual awareness is active, but their psychology has not reached maturity and their endurance is not strong. Therefore, students have many worries and unbalanced mentality, which are called "dangerous period" and "difficult period". We should pay attention to their psychological counseling.
1988, I organized a "psychological group" among senior one students to study educational psychology, adolescent psychology and senior high school students' psychology. Some students read the contents of the discussion book, contact their own thoughts, work and life reality, and pour out what they have nowhere to say in the group. Teachers are just one of them, that is, listening, generally not making any comments, and giving some guidance when necessary. This practice has been recognized by the students. In the past, the more intense the study, the more easily the group was distracted. After the tutorial, the class is more practical and the classroom is shrouded in a quiet atmosphere. It shows that this kind of counseling is in line with the psychological state of students.
