What is group health insurance?

Group health insurance is a form of group insurance in which an enterprise or unit insures employees or social groups, and when their health suffers damage and economic losses, the insurer pays the insurance money.

Compared with individual health insurance, group health insurance has the characteristics of collective insurance, collective payment and collective management. It is also favored by employers because of its low cost, high security and relatively loose underwriting standards.

Teams participating in group health insurance require that the participation rate be close to 75% of the employees, and they must be full-time or full-time employees. Part-time employees and temporary employees cannot participate in group insurance.
