There are 6 stations in the East Extension Line, starting from the terminal of the first phase of Metro Line 4, crossing Shahe to the northeast and entering Luo Cheng Road, and laying eastward along Luo Cheng Road to the terminal Xihe. The total length of the project is 17.337 km, all of which are underground lines. There are 4 stations 14, including 4 transfer stations and 2 east-west extension lines, which are connected and transferred with 4 MRT lines such as Chengdu Metro Line 7 and Chengdu Metro Line 9. The total investment of the project is 9.207 billion yuan, including 2.806 billion yuan in capital, accounting for 30% of the total investment; The construction period is 3 years and 3 months.
The second phase of Metro Line 4 extends westward to the University Town Station (Wansheng Station), which has the following important significance: First, it promotes the development of the science park area; the construction of this station can better radiate the science park area and bring more people to the area; 2. "Changing cages for birds" to promote the transformation of the park: based on this site, plan and build CBD, as the core area of the science park, to provide supporting services for the future transformation and development of the science park, so as to make it develop healthily and rapidly; Third, improve the use value of the land around the site: there are still 2.86 square kilometers of undeveloped land around the site. Combined with the site, planning and construction of business circle, making use of the large number of passengers brought by the track, enhancing the value of the plot and promoting regional economic development.
