A cat's healthy figure

Everyone may have heard the description of a cup of cats, a pot of cats, a beach of cats and a pile of cats! These words vividly describe the softness of the cat's body. When we hold the cat in our hands, we can also feel that its body is really soft. Then why is the cat's body so soft? I think there are probably the following reasons.

First of all, judging from the cat's body configuration, the cat's body is slender and strip-shaped, with long body, long tail and long feet, which forms its light posture. When it walks, its long legs will touch the ground gently and its body will shake slightly. It is this long streamline that laid a good foundation for their soft bodies.

Secondly, the cat's body is very balanced. We all know that many cats climb trees very fast, and when they fall from trees, they will fall to the ground in a relaxed posture. This is because their bodies are well balanced and their cerebellum is well developed. When they want to land, they will send a signal to the brain, and the brain will respond quickly, so as to find a good falling position and not fall.

The third is the cat's bone structure. According to scientists' research, there are 206 bones in the cat's body, especially the bone structure of the cat's chest. Their sternum is very curved and neatly arranged. The cat's sternum can also bend flexibly inward as the cat crosses the narrow road. Many people have done experiments. They have successfully reduced the height of the road the cat passes to only seven centimeters. Although cats are big in appearance, they can easily pass under them. This is because they will reduce their height when crossing, and the sternum will contract inward, even forming a flat state, so the cat's body will be very soft.
