Seventy-three years ago today, under the pretext of the "Wicker Lake" incident, Japan flagrantly launched the appalling September 18th Incident in the northeast of China, and since then, it has started a 14-year war of aggression against China. That matter has always been a pain in the hearts of the people. From that day on, thousands of Qian Qian compatriots died tragically under the butcher's knife of the Japanese invaders, and more than 600 billion national wealth was wasted.
It can be said that everyone in China, from a very young age, has learned how to learn the dauntless spirit of revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country to resist the Japanese aggressors and safeguard national dignity. And we often talk about the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs, but we have never engraved that patriotic feeling in our hearts. Because of this, some of us have completely forgotten the national shame day. Do they still know their national humiliation and that they are from China? This is the sorrow of a nation and the shame of the people of China.
In recent days, major media have reported that "air defense alarms were sounded in 100 cities nationwide at 9: 00 pm on September 18", which is really conducive to enhancing the patriotic feelings of Chinese people. Unfortunately, Changsha is not within the scope of this 100 city. So we Changsha people can't feel the shame of National Shame Day.
In fact, many other countries have their own national humiliation days, such as the memorial day of the Great Patriotic War in Russia, the memorial day of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in South Korea and the memorial day of the attack on Pearl Harbor in the United States. People in these countries mourn the dead and look back on history on this day of national humiliation.
To show patriotism, it is not necessary to "resolutely resist Japanese goods" and "bear a grudge against the Japanese", but to "learn from foreigners to control them", keep national humiliation in mind and turn it into motivation. I believe that with the memory of national humiliation of our generation, our Chinese nation will certainly stand on the top of the world, so that our nation will no longer have a second "national shame day" and let our nation stand out.
Forgetting history is tantamount to betrayal. Keep in mind that National Shame Day is by no means to vent hatred, but to enhance people's sense of hardship and self-improvement, establish national self-esteem, and forge ahead bravely for the prosperity of the motherland.
"The national humiliation will never be forgotten, and the nation will strengthen itself"-this is a sentence in the newspaper commentary; "Born in sorrow, died in happiness"-this is a heartfelt word I want to express!
