Why does Huawei's mobile phone consume power quickly after upgrading the HarmonyOS system?

After the equipment has just been upgraded, there will be a series of optimization actions running in the background, such as: some applications need to be re-adapted or optimized in the background, the gallery will be intelligently rearranged, and the files will be re-scanned to avoid security risks, which will increase some power consumption.

The optimization operation needs to be completed in the background when the device is idle. Generally, it can be completed after 5 hours of full charge or 3 days of normal use (if the equipment is used frequently, the time will be longer), and the equipment will automatically resume normal battery life after completion.

If the above methods still can't restore the normal battery life, you can optimize the battery life by the following methods:

1. Automatic diagnosis optimization using one-button power saving or one-button optimization.

Enter the mobile phone housekeeper application, click one-click optimization, and optimize the settings that can save electricity according to the results.

2. Click on the power consumption ranking to view high-power applications:

Go to Settings > Battery > Power Consumption Ranking to see which software consumes more power, for example, stop using clickable applications temporarily and end running.

3. Turn on smart resolution, which helps to save electricity.

Enter Settings, search the screen resolution at the top, enter the screen resolution setting interface according to the prompt, and select smart or smart resolution.

4. Turn on the power saving mode

Go to Settings > Battery, turn on power saving mode, and reduce the power consumption of the mobile phone.

If your problem has not been solved after trying the above methods, it is recommended that you back up your own data (third-party communication applications need to be backed up separately) and bring the purchase voucher to Huawei customer service center for testing.
