The School of Nursing of Zhengzhou University was formerly the Health School affiliated to Henan Medical University. Established in 193 1 year. In July, 2000, Zhengzhou University, Henan Medical University and Zhengzhou University of Technology merged. The Health School affiliated to Henan Medical University was affiliated to Zhengzhou University and renamed as Zhengzhou University School of Nursing. Zhengzhou University is the first batch of "2 1 1 project" key universities in China, and the first batch of "one province, one school" and "excellent plan" key universities built by the Ministry of Education.
The campus area of Nursing College is10.35 million square meters, and the building area is 510.5 million square meters. The teaching facilities are complete, including 28 laboratories of various disciplines, 2 foreign language pronunciation classrooms, 3 computer teaching laboratories, 20 multimedia classrooms and 3 physics training rooms. Advanced teaching equipment constitutes the campus audio-visual education network. Zhengzhou University, as a national 2 1 1 engineering key university, has enrolled a number of undergraduate students in various majors, and the School of Nursing is no exception.
Nursing college has a long history of running a school and has trained a strong faculty. There are more than 50 full-time and part-time teachers/kloc-0, of which 5 1% are teachers with associate senior titles or above. Zhengzhou University and its affiliated hospitals, other provincial hospitals and some municipal hospitals in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen provide high-level instructors, experimental equipment and practice sites for the teaching of nursing colleges.
Training objectives of nursing specialty: mainly cultivate advanced practical nursing professionals with humanities and social sciences, clinical medicine, preventive health care, modern nursing theory, basic knowledge and clinical nursing skills, who can engage in clinical nursing, community mutual assistance, nursing management, nursing education and division-level nursing research in the nursing field. Have the basic ability to provide holistic nursing and health education services for customers.
The main courses are human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbial immunology, pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy, nursing psychology, nursing foundation, health assessment, internal medicine (surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics) nursing, nursing education, nursing scientific research, nursing management, emergency nursing and so on.
Length of study: four years of undergraduate study, and those who meet the requirements will be awarded a bachelor of medicine degree.
