The topic of my speech today is "Pay attention to healthy and scientific diet", because May 20th is the annual nutrition day for middle school students in China. Speaking of nutrition, students should not underestimate this problem. With the improvement of living standards, there are more and more picky eaters, anorexia and partial eclipse among primary and secondary school students. Many students have developed the habit of eating snacks instead of staple food, resulting in more and more malnourished students. Coupled with factors such as study pressure and mental stress, insufficient exercise, and students' unilateral intake of high-fat and high-protein foods, the incidence of obesity among adolescents in China has increased year by year. Good nutrition, proper exercise and reasonable work and rest are three important factors that affect their physical and mental development. In order to make teenagers grow sturdily, we should popularize students' nutrition knowledge and provide students with a reasonable diet structure. School catering is to distribute meals reasonably according to the nutrition contained in different foods and the nutritional standards of different age groups, so as to achieve the goal of balanced health.
Students' daily diet should be diversified to provide adequate, comprehensive and balanced nutrition and ensure physical development. Here are some suggestions for everyone:
(1) Develop a good habit of eating breakfast. The intense study and activities in the morning require that breakfast must contain enough calories to ensure that students can study energetically. Adolescence is the golden age of intellectual and physical investment. Only a reasonable diet can make you strong, quick-thinking and healthy.
(2) Dietary diversification: Reasonable nutrition is of great significance to the healthy growth and study of teenagers. According to the requirements of nutrition, teenagers should have staple food, non-staple food, meat and vegetables, and try their best to diversify.
(3) Take an active part in sports activities and strengthen physical exercise.
Proper exercise and reasonable nutrition combination can promote the growth and development of teenagers, improve cardiopulmonary function, improve human endurance, reduce body fat and improve mental state. This economic, practical, effective and non-side-effect measure plays an important role in improving the quality of life and health of teenagers.
