The insurance elements of health insurance

Health insurance is divided into different types according to different standards. The specific types of insurance are as follows:

I. Classification of commercial health insurance

1. According to the different security items, health insurance can be divided into four types: medical insurance, sickness insurance, disability insurance and nursing insurance.

(1) Sickness insurance: When the insured suffers from any disease within the scope of the insurance contract, the insurance company will pay in one lump sum according to the insured amount regardless of whether the medical expenses and medical insurance are reimbursed.

(2) Medical insurance: that is, medical expense insurance. When the insured has medical expenses covered by the insurance contract, the insurance company will reimburse him according to a certain proportion according to the insurance contract.

(3) Disability insurance: namely, income loss insurance and income protection insurance, which compensate the insured for income and property losses due to loss of working ability.

(4) Nursing insurance: When the insured suffers from the loss of daily living ability within the scope of the insurance contract, the insurance company will pay compensation.

2. According to different payment methods, health insurance can be divided into three types: expense insurance, subsidized insurance and providing service-oriented products.

(1) Expense insurance: When the insured needs reasonable medical expenses for medical treatment due to an accident in the guaranteed project, the insurance company will reimburse all or part of the medical expenses according to the contract.

(2) Subsidized insurance: that is, fixed payment insurance, which is an insurance with fixed payment agreed in advance according to the insurance contract, and has nothing to do with actual medical expenses.

(3) Providing service-oriented products: This is an insurance in which insurance companies directly participate in the management of the medical service system. Medical service providers (hospitals, clinics and doctors) are selected by insurance companies according to certain standards, and these medical service providers are organized to provide medical services for the insured.

In addition, the rate of health insurance is directly proportional to the age of the insured, so friends who want to configure health insurance as soon as possible are best and cheaper.
