Second, the causes of job burnout of preschool teachers
Through interviews and exchanges with many in-service preschool teachers, the author found that the main reasons for preschool teachers' job burnout are:
(a) heavy work tasks, mental stress.
Compared with other teachers, preschool teachers not only have to pay a lot of mental work, but also need to do a lot of physical work. Kindergarten teachers should not only ensure children's physical and mental health, but also undertake the design and organization of teaching activities; To decorate the environment and prepare teaching AIDS; It is necessary to do a good job in family cooperation and participate in scientific research, and the workload has far exceeded the scope of teachers' energy and ability. A survey shows that the average working hours of preschool teachers in China are 10.06 hours, which is 2.0 1 hour more than that of ordinary employees in other positions, but the sleep time is less than that of ordinary employees10.92 hours. ② Most of these tasks are trivial and repetitive. Most importantly, there are many jobs that are not within the scope of preschool teachers' responsibilities, or are not very beneficial to teachers' growth, such as some jobs to cope with superior inspections. It is easy to cause preschool teachers to go to work with emotions, and if they do this for a long time, it is easy to cause job burnout.
In addition, in addition to completing the heavy tasks, kindergarten teachers should continue to participate in training and examinations to adapt to the increasing social competition. For example, a kindergarten teacher I know took part in work after graduation, and took part in correspondence training and Montessori teaching method training in his spare time, which took up a lot of personal time. Therefore, preschool teachers rarely have their own time, and they live in a state of tension for a long time, with great mental stress, which easily leads to job burnout.
(B) Social identity is not high, and self-worth cannot be realized.
With the continuous development of society, people are more and more aware of the importance of early childhood education, and more and more people begin to pay attention to early childhood education. But what is not commensurate with it is that people's attitude towards preschool teachers has not changed accordingly. In the concept of ordinary people: "Kindergarten teachers are just taking children, singing and dancing, and they don't need any culture, so they are very relaxed." In fact, the quality of preschool teachers in China has been generally improved: basically, there are many preschool teachers with technical secondary school education and college education, and it is no longer unusual for undergraduates to enter kindergartens. In addition, the society has not seen the hard work of kindergarten teachers. The name "kindergarten aunt" is a direct manifestation of social prejudice against kindergarten teachers. Only from the actual return, in China, no matter where, the salary of kindergarten teachers is lower at the same level. Take a place as an example. The average monthly salary of college students who graduated from kindergarten is 700 yuan, some of which does not include living expenses such as housing and food, so there is actually very little money that can be disposed of freely. In addition, at present, in addition to public preschool institutions, many private employers do not provide various insurances for kindergarten teachers in Folina according to the provisions of the contract law, and the legitimate rights and interests of kindergarten teachers cannot be well protected. The current situation of "high input and low return" makes preschool teachers lack social recognition, self-worth can not be realized, and it is easy to produce job burnout.
(3) Different psychological endurance.
Psychologically speaking, individual's personality, temperament and other psychological characteristics are formed under the interaction of heredity, growth, environment, education and other factors, so everyone's psychological state and endurance are different. Preschool teachers face different tasks. According to modern temperament theory, temperament can be divided into four typical types: ① choleric temperament, ② sanguine temperament, ③ mucinous temperament and ④ depressive temperament. Generally speaking, irritable preschool teachers are energetic, competitive, enthusiastic and frank, and can cope with all kinds of situations in their work and handle all kinds of relationships well. Preschool teachers who tend to be sanguine are emotional, quick-thinking and adaptable, but lack patience and perseverance. Preschool teachers who tend to be clingy are generally calm, dull and thoughtful, but they are slow to act and lack vitality. Preschool teachers with depressive tendencies are sentimental, sharp in thinking, poor in self-control and indecisive. Faced with the same work pressure and interpersonal pressure, teachers with different temperament types have different reactions, and teachers with mucus type and depression type are more likely to fall into job burnout.
Thirdly, the countermeasures to eliminate the job burnout of preschool teachers.
There are many reasons for preschool teachers' job burnout, which is the result of the comprehensive influence of many factors. We believe that to make kindergarten teachers love their work, teachers, kindergartens and the whole society need to work together.
(A) improve the ability of preschool teachers to self-intervention and self-regulation.
Job burnout is an individual's performance in a state of excessive energy consumption. Coping with job burnout, first of all, lies in the intervention and adjustment of preschool teachers themselves as the main body. Self-intervention can mainly adopt psychological transfer methods: first, kindergarten teachers should face up to it and realize that job burnout is only a normal psychological phenomenon that everyone may experience, and then vent and adjust it through reasonable ways such as singing and exercise to achieve psychological balance; Then actively face the work situation and find out the solution to the problem; Finally, strengthen the love of career, truly love children, love work and love kindergarten. In addition, cultivating hobbies, strengthening self-cultivation and improving the quality of life are the best means to adjust job burnout.
(2) Manage kindergartens scientifically and create a relaxed working atmosphere.
The biggest pressure on preschool teachers comes from the work in kindergartens. At present, some unreasonable regulations and division of labor in kindergartens are important "fuses" for preschool teachers' job burnout. To solve the problem of preschool teachers' job burnout, kindergarten leaders must really care about front-line teachers and understand the difficulties of preschool teachers' work with empathy. Scientific management, clear division of tasks of preschool teachers, and timely feedback: give material and spiritual rewards to teachers who have successfully completed their tasks, attribute and guide teachers who have not successfully completed their tasks, and form a good relationship of mutual assistance between teachers. Create a relaxed and harmonious working atmosphere, so that kindergarten teachers can release their talents, tap their potential and fully embody their values in the kindergarten park.
(3) Strengthen social support and correctly evaluate preschool teachers.
Early childhood education is a major event related to national development and social quality, which needs the concern of the whole society. As individuals, preschool teachers are also in various social relationships. Solving the problem of preschool teachers' job burnout is a systematic project, which needs everyone's care and support. Only when the whole society sets up a correct view of preschool teachers, recognizes their value, fully understands and respects them, and the state takes practical and effective measures to improve their economic treatment and social status, and safeguards their rights and interests when formulating relevant laws and regulations, so that they can truly feel respected by society, can the probability of job burnout of preschool teachers be fundamentally reduced.
