The price of group exercises is written in the circular, and the relevant departments are disqualified from selecting advanced groups and individuals for morning exercises next year.

What's wrong with morning exercises? With these questions, we conducted a questionnaire survey on all students, and 292 questionnaires were recovered and 246 were valid. The results of the survey surprised us. The problem of morning exercises turned out to be so serious. Yong ying is also a last resort.

The disadvantages of the current morning exercise system

The biggest drawback of the current morning exercise system is the unreasonable time arrangement. Morning exercises, morning exercises, people tend to pay more attention to early, and ignore the consequences of "early".

1, the current morning exercise time does not conform to the laws of nature.

In most schools, morning exercises are usually arranged around six in the morning. The reason is that the fresh air in the morning helps to improve the excitement of the brain and enhance the effect of morning exercise. But new research shows that the air before dawn is the most stale.

Because the chlorophyll of plants can only be photosynthesized with the participation of sunlight, the carbon dioxide exhaled by most plants overnight still permeates the air before dawn. Only after the sun comes out can green plants gradually release oxygen and make the air fresh. At this time, most students have just entered the closed classroom and started classes.

Third, modern meteorological observation proves that the weather is very cold before sunrise in winter. Going out to exercise at this time is very easy to catch a cold, and it is also easy to cause joint pain, stomach pain and other diseases; Exposed parts of the body, such as hands and face (especially ears), are prone to frostbite. Generally, half an hour after the sun comes out, the morning cold begins to ease. In the survey, we also found that many students get frostbite because they get up early to do exercises in winter.

2. The current morning exercise system violates the physiological mechanism of human body.

According to scientific research and students' personal experience, sleep efficiency before dawn is higher. Sleep ten minutes more in the morning and one hour more than at other times. But our current morning exercise system just ignores this point.

More than 90% students think that the current morning exercise system is too early, which makes them "lack of sleep, seriously affecting the quality of class, poor learning effect, and affecting the energy and mood of the day." The reason why this happens is that our current morning exercise system forces students to violate the physiological mechanism.

It is not appropriate to take part in physical exercise immediately after getting up in the morning. After a night's sleep, the functions of various internal organs of the human body are still at a low point. So take a short rest after getting up, do some preparatory activities, and then do morning exercises to facilitate the gradual activation of physiological functions. During sleep, the metabolism of the human body consumes a lot of water, so it is necessary to replenish water first. When you get up, your body is already on the verge of dehydration, with blood concentration, reduced blood volume, slow blood flow and high blood viscosity, and metabolic waste accumulation in your body, which is easy to induce many diseases. If you can drink 200 to 300 ml of warm water before morning exercise, or add 1 tablespoon of honey to warm water (except for diabetics), you can not only satisfy your "drinking desire", but also increase the sugar in your blood and avoid the possibility of hypoglycemia induced by morning exercise.

However, due to the school's overemphasis on the speed and intensity of morning exercises, students lack sleep, inadequate preparation for morning exercises, or almost none.

The survey results show that more than 95% students think that the current exercise time is unreasonable and premature; More than 60% students think that they exercise too often every day. The formal class time in Rizhao campus is 7: 50 am, and the start time of morning exercises is 6: 15. In other words, students must get up before 6 o'clock, and then get up after 15 minutes, get dressed, wash, arrive at the meeting place and queue up.

Because the secretion of digestive juice in the body is greatly reduced after exercise, the peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract is also weakened. If you eat it immediately without proper rest and adjustment, it will easily lead to gastrointestinal diseases such as indigestion. Therefore, it is not advisable to eat immediately after morning exercise. In real life, due to various reasons, most schools do not arrange proper rest time, or do, but it is difficult to achieve the purpose of rest. Therefore, most students will take the time to eat after finishing exercises.

In the survey, we found that the proportion of students who live on campus for a long time is obviously higher than that of day students.

3. The form of morning exercise is too rigid, lacking the action power to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages.

You can't do exercises in the morning except in rain, snow and rest days. According to research, foggy days are not suitable for morning exercises. Fog contains many toxic and harmful substances, such as acid, alkali, benzene, amine, phenol, pathogenic microorganisms and so on. And because of the low air pressure and low wind speed in foggy morning, the waste gas in the air is not easy to spread. At this time, if you do morning exercises, you will just inhale the waste gas into the body, which will easily induce tracheitis, pharyngitis, conjunctivitis, rhinitis, sinusitis and allergic diseases.

So the effect of our morning exercises is extremely poor. An interviewed teacher said: "The first class in the morning should have been full of energy and the best mental state, but now the situation is completely opposite. The students are very sleepy in the first class. After the first class, they climbed down a big block immediately. Seeing them so sleepy, I can't bear to go on. " Some students directly said: "Morning exercises are not only a waste of time, but also a kind of torture. I fuck with my eyes closed every day. " At the dialogue meeting organized by the Youth League Committee of Rizhao Campus, the problems of morning exercises, commodity quality of apartments and subsidies for poor students have become the most strongly reflected by students. It seems that our morning exercises have reached the point where we must reform.

Student's point of view: combine professional characteristics and forge freely.

How to reform morning exercises? Some teachers believe that the main reason why students go to bed early is that students rest too late at night, which is not the fault of morning exercises. The reform of morning exercise should start with the reform of bedtime. According to the reporter's investigation, there are almost no dormitories with lights out during normal lights-out time (at night 10: 30). Most dormitories turn off their lights after the last time (1 1: 00). You can't fall asleep immediately after turning off the lights. Most students usually go to bed after 1 1: 30. According to getting up at six in the morning, the average sleep time of students is six and a half hours, which is a bit insufficient. However, due to various reasons, the reform of sleep time has little effect.

According to scientific research and the personal experience of most students, it is more valuable to sleep ten minutes more in the morning than one hour more at other times. Therefore, most students suggest that we should do exercises after 6: 30. The strongest reaction of students applying for foreign languages department is that they must spend the whole morning "reading the text to cultivate their sense of language, listening to the radio and practicing listening and speaking."

In view of the above situation, 80% of the students suggest that the power of morning exercises should be decentralized, and all departments should listen to students' opinions extensively and formulate the time and form of morning exercises according to their own professional characteristics. The Youth League Committee and the Student Union are only responsible for coordinating the venue and other issues. Some students also suggested canceling group exercises and allowing students to choose freely.

Experts suggest: Exercise half an hour after sunrise or change morning exercise to evening exercise.

The current morning exercise system in China has failed to play its due role and needs to be reformed urgently. The issue of morning exercises is related to the physical and mental health of students and the quality of education in China. It needs the joint efforts of all parties to explore and formulate the morning exercises system that is most suitable for China's national conditions and local conditions as soon as possible.
